A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country.

Well, there's a very simple answer.

Nobody bothered to check the oil.

We just didn't know we were getting low.

The reason for that is purely geographical.

    Our OIL is located in:

    ALASKA

    California

    Coastal Florida

    Coastal Louisiana

    Coastal Alabama

    Coastal Mississippi

    Coastal Texas

    North Dakota

    Wyoming

    Colorado

    Kansas

    Oklahoma

    Pennsylvania

    And

    Texas

Our dipsticks are located in DC

    Any Questions?
    NO? Didn't think So.

If we drilled our own oil we would not have to send boatloads of American dollars to the middle east. That would deny them the cash to finance their Jihads and fatwahs. They would not be able to contribute money to US colleges to start or support "Middle Eastern Studies" programs which corrupts both then students and our colleges (which would do anything for a buck).

Is this also the reason that the President vetoed the Canadian oil pipeline? Is this what he was taught as a young boy in the madrassas in Indonesia?

It also seems strange to me that when we seem to have more than enough oil and demand is down the prices still remain high because a couple of refinerys are taken out of production for maintenance. That cuts output and produces a shortage of product and keeps the price and profit level up. The little guy is not going to come out ahead. They could fill all the storage caverens in the world but with the refinerys down we are stuck.
