Ohio has been forced to wave target requirements due to the inability of the ATA computer system to update.

THERE WILL BE NO TARGET REQUIREMENTS AT THE OSTA STATE SHOOT THIS WEEK.

    Guy,

You can sit on the BS pole if it makes you happy but this note is straight from the OSTA.

I guess Ohio has also waived the requirement for shooters to present their (filled out) Average Card.

How did we ever get by without computers?

So the OSTA has bovine excrement issues.

Ohio seems to be the get-er done state.

Their facility here is jam packed and it isn't even the preliminary day.

I am not sure it is necessary or appropriate for my Illinois friends above to be knocking Ohio for throwing a good shoot and drawing another big crowd. At least they will be raising monies for the ATA to spend on a computer.

Nobody is knocking Ohio for throwing a good shoot.

And nobody who has posted on this thread, yet, is from Illinois.

nimitz....you could at least acknowledge that you made a mistake by accusing people of knocking Ohio.

Also why can't they use the ATA cards as suggested above? Any documentation on your allegations of waving target requirements?

As I remember reading I think V10 was at one time parading as an IL delegate. It is possible V10 just fooled everyone.

If you want to check for yourself on the target requirement issue you can drop by the shoot. If you are already here you will find out at the registration. If you aren't going to the shoot then you don't have a dog in the fight anyhow.

Also it isn't my job to explain their actions...I am just someone with a laptop at the Cardinal Center. The internet is fast at the campground.

How did all the other state shoots run so smoothly this spring & all of a sudden Ohio is helpless to use the soft cards to classify.....Maybe Joe Mcpeek will be along to help explain that.

I am confused as to what people think is wrong with the ATA's computer system. I just checked my scores and they are all up to date through the end of May.

hunter44, Funny I didn't see you in the 2 hour classification line at Cardinal. Do you know for sure there are no problems? My scores from 3 weeks ago aren't entered yet. I assume you think that's acceptable?

At least Cardinal has enough shooters to generate a 2 hour line.

    Just jealous?
