In a state that is BROKE and a country that NEEDS jobs, you would think that they would embrace this opportunity like North Dakota........

I am fully aware of California's over regulatory, anti business, anti citizen legislature. Is it any wonder that the state is 40 billion, that's a B,40 billion in the hole. I am so proud that I am able to overcome these socialist zealots in the Ca. legislature.

The hurdles that businessmen in this state are required to overcome are ridiculous. It is obvious these hurdles are put there in order to create failures. I know that is hard to understand but it is the truth. I challenge all of you to watch the Ca. legislature at work. Watch it on TV if you can. The anti business, anti capitalism, the anti achievement atmosphere is palpable. Most of these politicians are hateful communists. I'm not exaggerating.

The only reason I'm still doing business here is that it is so hard to start again elsewhere. My dream is to not lose, or give away, everything I've earned in the last 30 years and retire in another 10 to 12 years. I will sell everything I have and move to OK or TX. I know it is hard to believe that someone would want to leave the beauty of Ca. for OK or TX. But the quality of human being, and of life in general, I believe will be better there than here. I know that what I bring to the state will be appreciated and not squandered.

Most that left OK during the dust bowl would have been better off to have stayed put in OK. My mothers family packed up the truck "Joad style" and traveled West to California. A year later after much hardship and abuse, they made their way back. In my opinion, humble or otherwise, California has always been a false dream for hard working Americans.

Agreed Catpower. I sounded like a pompous ass. It's just that when I read stories like the 1st post it just really makes me mad. Then I write without thinking.

Yet the long arm of Commiefornia will reach out and demand a percentage of your retirement income after you move to another state.

    Darr,

You're welcome to Oklahoma whenever you want to come. There are some beautiful places here and some wonderful folks. Just have to dodge some tornadoes now and then.

So Schwab, like most Clintonites, you don't know the difference between an "annual budget" and "debt". Bill Clinton had a "Budget Surplus" while riding a $6 Trillion debt. It just means CA for one year spent less than they took in in taxes, etc. Now if they apply the "surplus" to their debt CA would be down to only $39.4 Billion in hock.

No crap indyrun. You are obviousl qualified to be an economic analyst at Fox news. Just thought it is interesting that Scwarzenegger is being outperformed by Moonbean. By the way the terminology is debt vs deficit.

Brown has out performed Arnold. Congratulations Schwabby. One democrat out doing another. Ca. is still working on a 40 + billion debt. Which by the way was ran up by a huge democratic majority in the state legislature. Ca. will declare bankruptcy before it is ever payed off.

You can lead a liberal to facts but you can't make them think.

If I am a million in debt and spend 40.00 less this year than what I made did I all of a sudden get out of debt and have a surplus? Oh how dumb libs really are.

In Arnold's defense, if he ran in Iowa he would of got Gene's vote. He was the perfect example of an "electable" Republican.

Hey guys, you are contradicting yourselves. There is no way tax increases can increase revenue. My Republican congressman told me so.
