From me, David Buchman, Los Angeles:

    (REGARDING: http://www.budanddaveekins.com)

This may be of interest to some. A new website is now up and running about the earlier days of offroad motorcyling, racing, etc. The site is so new, a few typos/additions are still being worked out. Site is not yet found via search engine. Site is about Bud and Dave Ekins, iconic MC racers of the 50's and 60's into the early 70's. Bud is also very well known for his stunt work for Steve McQueen and others...hope you check it out. Following is release of information from the website developer:

If you are at all in to motorsports and/or motorcycle racing then you'll definitely want to check out the latest launch from Magical Productions. An homage and tribute to Bud & Dave Ekins this information packed site resides at http://www.budanddaveekins.com. Personal archives of the motorcycle racing legends were explored which uncovered fantastic recounting of the early days of motorcycle racing. Some rare and never before seen photographs are available for the public to view many accompanying stories written by or about the brothers Ekins.

Creating a site that was both modern in terms of design and technology while still keeping that nostalgic feel was the goal when we created this custom design. A special organizational structure for a timeline of events and stories was imagined and built in to this design.

Have a look and enjoy some of the historic memories of the Ekins family."

These guys did it without a bunch of fancy dan high tech equipment.

Try railing a 400 lb Triumph at full chat through a desert full of rocks and big bad picker bushes.

I hope they give a little notice to Elliott Schultz, one of the best Triumph riders ever.

Bud travelled around the country and won a lot of enduros in his time.

Beautiful, beautiful Rickman. Bud Ekins rode one way late in his career...500 cc Triumph powered. Rickmans are to me, the most beautiful offroad bikes ever made....
