    Sorry all had to split in the middle of the post due to an emergency and hit the keyboard as I was deleteing & running out.......DOH!!
    Any way these guys were out hunting and ran into this cougar, now it sure seems unlikely that they would not have shot it as it approched them, but who really knows. If it was indeed "wild" why in the heck would one even try to put his hand on it or even get near to it??.

    That cat had to have been around humans somewhere.

    That is all that could account for it being as tame as it seems in the pictures.
