For one week now a mixture of people have been demonstrating on Wall Street. The mainstream media has blacked out this protest. If you want to see what is coming to a city near you go to the link above and watch.

How in the hell do you figure this is being backed by the Unions? If you watch the live feed I think you will see a mixture of old people, young people and people of every color marching in protest of THE TOO BIG TO FAIL banks. Next Oct 6th the Veterans for Peace will be marching on Washington are they union backed as well?

Was on newsmax.com several weeks ago that this protest was supported by AFL-CIO (Trumka) and SEIU (Stern)

otnot, good try at deflection since nobody said anything about "union organizers". Deflection is a typical liberal tactic.

Looks like college kids and unemployed (or unemployable)to me. Back packs, guitars, and their dress gives that away. Wonder how many are paid to be there. What day of the week and what time of day was the tape made?

That tape was recorded today. Don't call me a liberal them is fightin words. Wake up people the bankers have taken our country away from us. You should be proud of these people who are willing to go to the street and protest in what they believe in. As to who they look like. Well to me they look like a a good cross section of America.

A few years ago, anyone in charge of loans made a great living. Refinancing, loans for anyone and everyone via Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, $6,000 credit on your first house loan. yada, yada. It happened because of the politicians in charge, including republicans. A loan officer with no education could make big bucks. Now, it takes 20-30% down, and they can't find anyone to qualify for a loan.

As usual, politicians make the rules. Those that can, take advantage of it will.

    Blame the people you elected.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it might be a duck. At least I learned that the bankers stole the country- always thought it was the liberal politicians who did that. Thanks to otnot for edificating me.

Those people look a lot like liberal idiots to me, and they act like the fools they are. Maybe they would be better off looking for a job than standing around screaming absurdities. JMHO

Now I guess only liberals protest? This isn't about conservatives or liberals this is about Americans taking back our country. Don't let them segergate you into right or left, union or non-union or they will win. Divide and conquour still works.

It is about WE THE PEOPLE. Yes blame the people we elected but also blame the lobbyist that pay our elected officals for their votes. And who do the lobbyist work for? Banks and large corporations! So who profits from all the legislation that is enacted? You got it banks and corporations. So where should they protest? WALL STREET AND WASHINGTON.

You GUESS only liberals protest? DAH- only liberals protest and destroy property, attack the police and generally make pains in the ass of themselves. No thanks, I won't be any part of the WE THE PEOPLE that contains those morons. My WE THE PEOPLE are rational, thinking adults not infantile bozos like those protesters and their ilk (you).

Read my lips: capitalism is good, socialism is bad.

"So who profits from all the legislation that is enacted? You got it banks and corporations."

I'm gald to hear that the banks benefitted. I would hate to think what my investment in Citibank, BoA, JP Morgan would be if they didn't benefit.

The mainstream media is saying the demontrators are primarily "anti-capitalism / pro-socialism."

Yes capitalism is good as long it is a free market and not manipulated. Yes socialism is bad. That is what has been used to turn our citizenry in to sheeple.

You people need to take off your rose colored glasses and look around you. We have 46 million people on food stamps. The real number for unempleyed is 23%. We have a 15 trillion dollar defict.(which we can't even pay the intrest)We borrow .40 cents for every dollar we spend. We have lost 95% of the value of our currency in the last 85 years. It's not that goods cost more, it's that your money is worth less! We allowed our factories to be exported overseas. Our homes are worth 40% less than they were 4 years ago. We have the lowest new housing starts in 50 years. Should I go on?

This isn't a resession, we are headed into,it's a depression. If you think for one minute the government is going to somehow majically fix this mess by borrowing more money to spend, then you have your head shoved up where the sun doesn't shine. I will leave you with a couple of quotes

    A quote from Thomas Jefferson:
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

A quote from Andrew Jackson who by the way was the last president to balance the budget.
"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time, and I am
convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs
of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you
lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from
the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may
be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will
ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers
and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you
    out."

And finally Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild (1744-1812),
“Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.”

Well, DAH, no of course the government isn't going to accomplish anything by borrowing and spending more money. Another example of deflection since I never said such a thing and nothing I said could possibly be construed by any rational being to even imply such a thing.

Read my lips again: The government has never and will never create so much as one job, but the government can definitely destroy jobs. Ubama has proven that time and time again.

Deflect all you want but you can't change the fact that this is only about dirtbag lawbreaking scumbags who you endorse. Go to Wall Street an join them if you must but I won't bother with you again.

Street freaks! These stupid kids will demonstrate for or against anything. They haven't a clue what they are protesting. Someone put a slogan in their stupid mouths and they just repeat it.

Notice the smattering of older hippie freaks? Feels like the '60s, doesn't it. Maybe Obama's buiddies, Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorn are somewhere in the crowd.

The protest had to start some place and by someone. I agree that right now it is a leaderless band of young people that know something is wrong with the system and this is the only way they have to voice their displeasure.

If you haven't noticed, all the demonstrations around the world recently have started because of the young people? Our young people go to college and earn a degree then go to work at Mcdonalds while trying to pay back $150k student loan. Did you know that there is more owed on student loans than there is owed on credit cards? It is now over a trillion dollars. Wait until that bubble bursts!

I am glad to see at least someone has the balls to stand up and voice their displeasure even if it is slightly off center. If our past presidents could not control the banksters, I don't think a peaceful protest is going to sway their business practices. We are going to have to take it back.

Way to stir it up Yim. The shrimp boats must be running empty into your locale!

I see you've cast a big rod into the waters with many hooks...and I'll be damned, it wasn't long when you started getting some huge hungry/angry bites and running off in many directions.

No doubt, you have the inate ability to stir the pot and it's so interesting to just kinda sit back and watch the fun show, in the words of the baffled and ignorant.

Other than all that...how ya been/doing...getting any lately??? LOL (shooting that is)
