So where is OWS getting their funding? The article at the link say they've gone thru $1/2 million.

Read somewhere that a few unions brought in paid protesters.

Report: ACORN Is Secretly Helping Organize & Fund the ‘Occupy’ Movement

Remember ACORN? If not, try and stretch your memory back to the 2008 presidential campaign and the months that followed.

The controversial community organizing group — which is now defunct — came under fire for purportedly engaging in voter fraud.

Now, Fox News is reporting that the former New York office for ACORN is heavily involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement — so much so, that former members are apparently organizing door-to-door canvassing, events, and other related activities. Considering that this is supposedly a “leaderless” movement, these allegations are curious. Fox News reports:

The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.

NYCC’s connection to ACORN isn’t a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization’s controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.

Heard on Neal Boortz show on Thursday:

The free meals kitchen staff at OWS is now complaining because they've been working 18 hours a day to cook and serve free meals to the OWS members. Now they have a MAJOR problem because the group has been infiltrated, according to them, by the chronically unemployed, homeless, ex-cons and felons. They now are complaining that they're tired of feeding "freeloaders". AAAAHHAHAHAHAHA.

The menu has been "free range chicken, sprouts, gourmet rice, organic beans and cake."

Since they're tired of feeding "freeloaders" it has been announced that for the next several days the menu will be brown rice only.

Welcome to the top 10% you aimless idiots. We're tired of your nonproductive ass as well.

    By the way....good post Bob.

The tea party in several cities had to pay thousands for park rental, police presence, porta-potties, group gathering fees, etc., etc., etc.

Now they are pointing out the extreme double standard of their city government by asking for reimbursement of these fees, in some cases up to $8,000 to $10,000.

What basically is happening is that these cities are now subsidizing a political group, which is illegal.

Looks like it's going to take some massive lawsuits and criminal charges to get this straightened out.
