Liberal media "Moveon.org" is now circulating a national petition for a student loan bailout for the Flea Party. Currently they claim to have 600,000
signatures. Wouldn't this duplicate the same bad behavior they're protesting??
If this happens who ultimately gets the bill?? Taxpayers of course.

But then you had to figure this was coming with the current condition of our nanny state mindset of the me, me, me generation.

Outrageous and disgusting at the very least.

No free stuff. Tell them to get a job, even if they have to go overseas.

"Tell them to get a job, even if they have to go overseas."

Americans would go to other countries to find work, but over there, they call us "illegal aliens." They stick electrified fences at the border to kill us; they have civilian militias roaming their borders with rifles to shoot us; they pull over cars to check to see if anyone in the car is "illegal." They arrest and fine employers who hire us. They have helicopters flying over their countries to hunt us and catch us. They have special rapid detention facilities to imprison us and deport us, even if we have wives and children still in the country. They lock out their schools to us. When some of their citizens put out water along to border to ensure that we won't die while trying to get to their economic opportunities, they have sadist patrols that come along and pour out the water.

They say they learned from us how to handle their "illegal immigrant" problem.

I can't believe that this country has fallen so far that I'm seeing someone say to make it in this world, you have to leave America. "Not being in America. It's the American Way." If you have to leave America, then America has failed you.

I no longer feel obligated to pay my mortgage. I just don't think it's fair for the bank to charge me interest and require me to pay back the money I borrowed when I no longer like my house as much as I used to. It's just cruel and inhuman punishment!

I'm going to start a petition to have the government force the banks to forgive all loans (especially mine) immediately.

I think the list of petitioners will quickly become quite large, don't you?

"I just don't think it's fair for the bank to charge me interest and require me to pay back the money I borrowed when I no longer like my house as much as I used to."

If you ran your finances like the companies run theirs, this is exactly what you would do. Bankruptcy and bailout are integral elements of corporate business plans. You play by one set of rules, and they play by another. Like any crime syndicate, their game depends on most people not playing the game as they do.

By the way, where did the money come from that you "borrowed?" Do you know what fractional reserve banking is? Do you know that the money you "borrowed" didn't exist until you walked through the door and asked to borrow it? It's true. They made the money up out of thin air, and they force you to go out into the world and find real money to "pay back" the money they simply created on a ledger, used as "capital" to write more loans, sold the loans, made money on the sale, insured the loans, and used the insurance of the loan as a basis to say that the bank had no outstanding liability on the loans, so it wiped the loans off its books, and started the fractional reserve game, all over again.

You feel obligated to pay back this "money?" You slave for 30 years to pay back something they created out of nothing, in an instant. Then, when their shell game collapses, they get the people, you, to bail them out, and they start all over, making you pay for your house through your mortgage, through your government, and through the reduced purchasing power of your wages and savings through inflation.

Do you get all this? Really? This is what OWS is about, not what the few people Fox News cherry-picks to speak for the movement.

You need to see understand what our economy is built on.

These people are nothing but a bunch of immature little idiots that have lived off someone else's dime their entire life. They have been born, raised, and "educated" to think the entire world, and everyone in it owes them something. Personally I'm sick of them, and all of these equally idiotic liberals who support them.

They need a good, solid ass kicking, and the liberals need to grow up and face the fact their policies don't work, have never worked, and never will work, regardless of who applies them. We have example after example all over the world of how socialism has failed miserably everywhere it has ever been applied. Enough with this crap, and the morons who support it!

The capitalistic disaster that we face from fiat money and endless war is in no way the product of liberals on the street complaining about what those running the system are doing.

    Fox News:

"Rich people paying rich people to tell middle class people to blame poor people."

Turn it off. They have you looking everywhere but where the real action is.

The problem is not with the people. It is with government! The people only do what the government allows. The government charges Fannie with the task of expanding home ownership by granting risky loans. Fannie constructs regulations which tell banks and other lenders that if they adhere to these "guidelines", Fannie will buy these loans. The lenders do exactly as instructed and the system collapses because the borrowers cannot pay back the loans.

Was there something wrong withe the guidelines? Was it government's business to instruct Fannie to guarantee these loans?

Franklin Raines, and "African-American, retired from Fannie with $95 million. Barney Frank, who was behind this fiasco is still in Congress. They should both be in jail but they are the protected class - government and pseudo-government.

Heads up about the "student loan" issue. By some accounts, The Govt. office that administrates student loans (with taxpayers as cosigners) has been engaging in GIVING loans away without regard to the recipient's ability to ever pay the money back. Squarely in Liar Loan territory. Story is just breaking.

This is NOT to say that OWS has any right to compensation. Their core issue was bank fraud. They should have stayed with that. That message has been co-opted by the media.

There is now more owed for student loans than what is owed on credit cards. $800 billion dollars. Student loans are the only loans that if you default there is NO way to discharge that debt. You can't file bankruptcy, it is with you for the rest of your life.
Kids you should not take out a loan. Work your way through school. Once again loans were given to people who never should have received them. Why? Because the collection agencies that the government hires are making a killing to the tune of 18%. What a great way to control our youth, send them out into the world in debt.
Mark my words. Derivatives and the student loan bubbles are the next to burst. Oh by the way Bank of America only has 75 trillion invested in the derivatives market which today they transfered to one of their FDIC backed banks. Guess who will be bailing them out? US!
