    Obama

I was just running a few numbers from Obama's cut to the bone no waste new and improved frugal Federal budget.

Total proposed budget 3.73 Trillion Dollars

2010 population of US from up to date census bureau - 308,745,538

My spreadsheet WOULDN'T TAKE THESE NUMBERS, when I punched em in. So I did this by hand and may be wrong. I took the 3.73 Trillion and divided it by the total population as give by the census bureau 308,745,538 and I came up that this budget would spend $12,081.15 for EVERY man, woman, and child (not counting illegal’s) in this country.

For a family of 4 that would come up to $48,324.60 Just in FEDERAL SPENDING.

Just think how bad it would be if we didn't have the austere Obama looking out for us.

Check my numbers. I really couldn’t get my msworks spreadsheet to take those numbers. Got it to work on smaller numbers, but not the ones listed above.

Lessee, now. we triple the budget, and then freeze spending at that level and tell the people what a good guy we are.

If there was any justice, the people who swallow that crap should be the only ones hammered by it.

What an idiot running this country. Just goes to show you what happens when the moron at the helm has "0" experiance, and hates this country. And Trinkel thought Bush was bad.

Just remember this well known and well documented fact: Before Barack Obama, George W. Bush held the record for irresponsible spending. I saw people on trapshooters.com defending him while he was on that record spending spree. Unfortunately, Barack Obama has made things much worse. Neil

Percentages, percentages, anytime someone talks in percentages they've likely modified the raw data to make their point.

If you're talking about the 770 billion TARP bailout, ABC News said Saturday February 12th that "all, but 28 billion has been paid back , and the remainder is shrinking". Let me know when the stimulus money comes back, or for that matter, is actually dispersed.

Yeah, George was dumb, but he did have two wars (approved by Congress) to pay for, along with a bunch of Kennedy promoted "educational" programs.

One important thing to rember is that George W. Bush STARTED those wars. The United States was sitting pretty good financially when George took office. Not so pretty when Obama took office. But that is not an excuse for Obamas' spending. Neil

Trinket as I remember the weapons inspectors were kicked out of Iraq while slick willy was busy doing the wild thing with Monica.

They were kicked out for about 2 years and Saddam was the one who said that he had weapons of mass destruction. And the Democratic CONGRESS was the one that approved the war.

So it was Bush at the helm, and the congress and the senate all voted to go to war. NOT just Bush. Bush like him or not, made the desigion, and didnt waffle on it.

Your buddy Obama can't and wont make a disigion to save his life. Well he can spend money that is a proven thing.

Stupid Swenson,,you really missed the intelligence boat. The wars are peanuts compared to the crime of the decade committed by your liberal pals Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Robert Rubin.

"Barney Frank Comes Home to the Facts"

"For years, Frank was a staunch supporter of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the giant government housing agencies that played such an enormous role in the financial meltdown that thrust the economy into the Great Recession. But in a recent CNBC interview, Frank told me that he was ready to say goodbye to Fannie and Freddie.

"I hope by next year we'll have abolished Fannie and Freddie," he said. Remarkable. And he went on to say that "it was a great mistake to push lower-income people into housing they couldn't afford and couldn't really handle once they had it." He then added, "I had been too sanguine about Fannie and Freddie."

"Some would say Frank's mea culpa is politically motivated in advance of an election where bailout nation and big government are public enemies No. 1 and 2. Of course, poll after poll shows that the $150 billion Fan-Fred bailout, which the Congressional Budget Office estimates could rise to $400 billion , is detested by voters and taxpayers everywhere.

In fact, these failed government agencies are in such bad shape that they can't even pay Uncle Sam the dividends owed under the conservatorship deal reached two years ago. That's right. In order to pay a $1.8 billion dividend on Treasury department stock, Fan and Fred had to borrow $1.5 billion from -- you guessed it -- the Treasury.

Then there's this head-scratching detail: In an absolutely outrageous move last Christmas Eve, President Obama signed off on $42 million in bonuses for the top 12 Fannie and Freddie executives, including $6 million apiece for the two CEOs. (Hat tip to attorney Stephen B. Meister.)"

Liberals caused the financial collapse, and yet another liberal has attempted to apologize for it.

Furthermore, stupid swenson, Bush had repeated concerns of predatory lending practices and deregulation.

"According to an article by Kathleen Day in the Oct. 8, 2003, Washington Post, Frank opposed giving the Bush administration the right to approve or disapprove business activities that “could pose risk to the taxpayers.” He told the Post he worried the Treasury Department “would sacrifice activities that are good for consumers in the name of lowering the companies’ market risks.”

Just a month before, Frank had aggressively thwarted reform efforts by the Bush administration. He told The New York Times on Sept. 11, 2003, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s problems were “exaggerated,” a gross miscalculation some five years later with costs estimated to be in the hundreds of billions."

Liberals have not only ruined the economic stability of this country, but may very well have ruined the economic stability of the entire civilized world.

    Yet more, stupid swenson;
"Robert Rubin, former exec at Citigroup, apologizes over financial crisis"

"Robert Rubin takes beating on crisis"

"WASHINGTON — Robert Rubin, the former financial superstar once lionized for his global crisis-fighting prowess, was scolded Thursday over the mortgage-securities disaster at Citigroup when he was a top executive there. His claim he didn't know of the risks piling up drew a sharp retort.

"You can't have it both ways: You either were pulling the levers or asleep at the switch," the head of the panel investigating the roots of the financial crisis told Rubin at a hearing.

Rubin expressed regret. Yet he insisted he didn't know until late in the game, when the subprime-mortgage crisis erupted in September 2007, about the $43 billion in high-risk mortgage securities on Citigroup's books.

But Phil Angelides, chairman of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, told Rubin that as head of the executive committee of Citigroup's board, "You were not a garden-variety board member. ... I'm not so sure apologies are as important as assessment of responsibility."

"The public scolding of Rubin marked another chapter in his fall from grace."

"After leading Wall Street powerhouse Goldman Sachs, Rubin served as Treasury secretary in the Clinton administration.

Critics have said Rubin, with his vast experience, should have picked up on the warning signs of the crisis and taken a more active role in preventing Citigroup's debacle.

"All of us in the industry failed to see the potential for this serious crisis," he told the congressionally chartered panel Thursday. "We all bear responsibility for not recognizing this, and I deeply regret that."

Angelides said of Rubin and former Citigroup CEO Charles Prince, who resigned at the height of the turmoil in November 2007: "The two of you in charge of this organization did not seem to have a grip on what was happening."

Again,,, "After leading Wall Street powerhouse Goldman Sachs, Rubin served as Treasury secretary in the Clinton administration."

swenson,,,Rubin screwed the country, slick willie screwed the country, Barney Frank screwed the country,,your 'I feel your pain' liberal socialists screwed the country..

I would be the dumbest human alive if I were to think that only one party is to blame for our problems. So apparently you hardliners have big problems. Someday, you guys will have to pull your heads out of Limbaugh and Hannity's asses for long enough to get a breath of fresh air. Your all turning blue. Paladin you are truly pathetic. Did your parents have any children that weren't blue when they were born? How's the weather in New York today? Neil

Me, pathetic, stupid swenson? Apparently you simply can't face the facts. Your people, the libtards, screwed the entire civilized world. Got it?

Frank apologized for the wrong he committed.

Rubin apologized for the wrong he committed.

Dodd was so disgraced, he chose not to seek re-election. Comprehend that?

Mash on all of the links I provided, and feel free to refute anything, any part of any of them. Go ahead, stupid swenson.

You were born stupid, and remain stupid,,swenson.

Shelly and Paladin, are you guys twins? I am sure that your opinions are equally respected on this site. Do you guys even own any firearms? I own more than a couple and I am fairly proficient with the ones that have been fired. And I can also argue my point without constantly calling someone names. Neil

Calling names you cry, swenson?? You call Bush everything but a human being. You called me "dumber than Bush" on another thread. You are simply a typical liberal hypocrite.

"Own any firearms" you cry?? I've had an FFL for 28 years. During the years of slick willie, one of your people, he tried every possible means to deny honest citizens the privilege.

The best thing for you to do is tape it up..

By the way, stupid swenson, slick willie's BOGUS Assault Weapons Ban was rightfully TERMINATED under Bush. Do you understand that, stupid swenson?
