Obama Pollster Cops Out: Polls Don

    NewsMax:

David Simas, the Obama campaign’s director of opinion research, says current polls are to be ignored.

"Polls will go up, polls will go down," he said in a campaign webcast for volunteers, Politico reports.

"At the end of the day, polls don't matter. Work harder than you ever have. Dig in, make the calls, knock on the doors."

His view may have something – or perhaps everything – to do with the fact that Mitt Romney has pretty much eliminated President Barack Obama’s lead in the polls since last Wednesday’s debate.

"We have said from the beginning that this will be a very, very close race," Simas said. "If the election were held today, the president would absolutely be re-elected."

The most recent polls don’t necessarily support that view. Pew Research Center and Gallup surveys taken since the debate show Romney grabbing the lead nationally, and Obama’s lead in swings states has shrunk noticeably.

    HaHa...it figures...

Bernie I think they slant the polls for one reason, if they published the true results it would show Obozo getting his a$$ handed to him and he would back off on his campaign advertizing, he's got a lot of money and the media wants all of it they can get their hands on

Same-o same-o with the unemployment figures. "seasonal adjustments" and other revisions make the reorted rate a joke.

From the household survey, which gives us the unemployment rate and counts the number of people who are employed [multiple-job holders are counted but once], the headline gain in employment was 873,000, the largest seasonally-adjusted monthly increase since Ronald Reagan's first-term. That number clearly is nonsense and again suggests there is a severe problem with the seasonal factors.

Our country needs a big cyst at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave removed.
