WTF - the only thing Obama worries about is playing basketball with the "brothers". This is the worse President ever to be in the Whitehouse. Democrats, you know it too, but don't know what to do about it. God help us all!!

From what I've seen so far his priority seems to be "jetting" around the world on Air Force One on the taxpayer dime, apologizing for all of the 'bad' things the USA has done to the world!

This is what happens when you pluck a community organizer from the streets and put him in charge of what was the most powerful nation on earth. By the time he is finished we will all be finished. He has surrounded himself with his radical friends. God help our soldiers, nobody else will. I am so thankful I don't have a son serving under that commie.

Put the 40,000 in or get them ALL out NOW. This POS can't make a decision.

He plays the wrong odds. Placating the looney left will make all the military moms hate him. If I had a son there I would be heating up the phone.

The troops need to be bolstered by numbers for their safety and this does not seem to meet The Anointed One's preferences.

The right needs to get louder. I see the lib controlled media starting to say the "public option" has more support. I for one don't believe it.

    Tuesday, October 20, 2009;

"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 28% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. The Approval Index rating has been lower only on two days since the current President took office"

His total approval is at 47%, and his total disapproval is at 52%.

He gives true meaning to the phrase 'post turtle'.

OK campers, let's put things in a bit of perspective....

In May of 2009 Obambi picked Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, as commander in Afghanistan. McChrystal's background is Special Forces. He's an an expert in counterinsurgency.

About the end of September, McChrystal requested more troops and resources for Afganistan. The exact request is said to include a range which depending on circumstances could be as little as 10K troops or as many as 40K. The 40K figure has been described by some sources as McChrystal's strong preference.

Regardless of how ill prepared Obambi may be, Commander in Chief is part of his job description. It's a fundamental responsibility of the office he wanted and got. Now Obambi is dithering.

Recoil Sissy doesn't understand Obambi's dithering. He was talking a good game in August. The following comments can be found in various articles dated on or about August 17th. Sources include the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Examiner, and Real Clear Politics among others:

"This is not a war of choice," Barack Obama told the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Aug. 17. "This is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which al Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans. So this is not only a war worth fighting. This is fundamental to the defense of our people."

Google 'war of necessity' for the complete news articles...

For what it's worth, Obambi stole the 'war of necessity' line from Richard Haass. Haass is president of the Council on Foreign Relations and author of a recent book on the subject. Interestingly, Haass promptly corrected Obambi by stating:

"No, Afghanistan is a 'war of choice,' he (Haass) declaimed in the New York Times, 'Mr. Obama's choice'."

So there you have it fellow ts.commers. Obambi thinks Afganistan is a 'war of necessity' fundamental to the defense of U.S. citizens. However, it apparently isn't sufficiently "necessary" to add the troops and resources his hand picked counterinsurgency general has requested. What's up with that??

Obama said that campaign stuff about a "war of necessity" because he was running against a War Hero - he didn't want the Right to be able to paint him as a sissy-pants Michael Dukakis pacifist vagina of a man. He had no idea the media would be so passionately in the tank for him, and thought he needed hawk-like rhetoric to get elected.

As it turns out, he needn't have worried. His election was already assured, and no such rhetoric was necessary. But, he wasn't about to take chances with the outcome. So, you got all the hawk-talk about fighting the "real war" in Afghanistan, etc.

But now that he's elected - pfoosh. Did I say that? Well, the situation has changed. Unlike Mr. Bush, I am able to take direction, and change my mind. We'll be out in 18 months. Next question?

I guess OOObami-never took military history, I forgot the name of the brain surgeon who was in charge of the landings at Anzio, he waited & waited until he was sure of what to do. Guess what while he was waiting every German unit descended on our troops, we most likely lost 10 times the amount of men if the General had done the right thing-win, win -to quote the motto of a U.S. Submarine Capt in WWII "Kill the Bstards."

Well at least Bush had time to get Iraq right. Obama is putting our kids at risk because he doesn't want to upset the loonie left. This BS about "needing a partner to continue the war" is just that, BS. when we went into Afghanistan to begin with, they had NO government!

Before you socialist dumocrats begin to squawk remember this ^ IS the lifestyle of your present administration and czars.

I'm with BigDon either $%#itt or get off the pot!

I DON'T EVEN want him back in action until we have total support from our new "commander".

The real truth is we don't have a leader or a commander. All we have is a seagull manager that can't spell "military experience".

Definition: seagull manager: noun; person who comes in flapping his wings, squawks a bunch, shits all over everything and then leaves.
