Can't have too much ammo, right bulge?

The number of nukes in existence is insane. It costs too much to maintain those things and they are mostly worthless. After we lob and receive the first hundred, what is the point of having more? Would we win?

Your enemy needs to understand that any launch of a nuke against the US will result in total and complete annihilation of themselves....period.

But with Barry at the helm, after the first nuke strike he'll still be trying to negotiate them to death while standing in a nuclear cloud.

Sure daddiooo, but do we really need to maintain thousands of the things to get the point across.

That's just more proof that he's a Communist. They said back in 1961 that they would take over the U.S. and never have to fire a shot, well they have one of their own in as our leader now so he can start to dismantle us and pave the way.

Maybe decommissioning a few of the oldest nukes....but 80%? That's insanity by any standards, except Barrys.

Johnny I guess we could take all the money from the nuclear scrap, and plant nice big gardens of Pansies, and then we could talk and offer the people who want to annihilate pretty little flowers and they will just go back to the hole they crawled out of and be all rosy and happy

Speak softly but carry a big stick

Maybe he is going to sell off the old ones to Iran. You know, kind of a new "cash for clunker" program. What could we call that ......hmmmmm.
"Nukes for the Nasty", "Nukes for Kooks" etc.

JayZap - I bet he could get Ollie North to broker the deal with Iran. He has a proven track record doing arms for Iran deals.

I think we all need to understand that any nuke launched against the U.S. is not only going to lead to elimination of that country, but it will be the end of us all.

You got it right Mr. Flyn. There is no such thing as a limited nuke exchange - thats just a bunch of BS cooked up in some think tank.

Stl Flyn, You sound like a resonable man.

Not only does it cost a lot to maintain the useless things, it will cost a fortune to eliminate them. We could eliminate 80% and still have enough to destroy the whole world a several times. The ones dropped on Japan were tiny compared to the ones we have today.

Second strike capability and the amount of nukes available is what keeps the bad wolf away. Remove the number of nukes you remove deterrent.
How can the kenyan be trusted in case of an attack, he and his will be way down, what will our political military staff do if he says do not launch. All the good guys are gone, replaced by YESSIR, with a girly man slur.
God bless Germany for selling Israel the last three submarines. They, the enemies of Israel, now know, even without the US to help them, second strike capability will remove them all from the face of the earth. Lee

He is dealing with the Muslim Brotherhood just as you might expect. Weakening the USA.

He asked the Pentagon for 'what ifs?' at several levels of reductions. That's what the Pentagon does.

Bulge gets annoyed when they do those things without checking with him first.

So that would leave what? 300 strategic warheads?

I dont know what to think of this without seeing the programing, projected damage assessments and fallout projections

Would I feel a lack of safety with 300 massive nuclear warheads or is it missles? Unclear at this time

How many would feel unsafe ?

Might be the capability to destroy the world depending on targeting those. Hit a few nuclear reactors and project 20,000 years of fallout downwind

The devil is surely in the details

    Regards from Iowa

MAD (Mutually Assured destruction) is the ONLY thing that has kept us safe from the communists for the last 60 years. Getting rid of it will make us less safe.

But what else do you expect from a commie rat?
