The coward in chief signed legislation yesterday that gives himself lifelong
Secret Service protection on the taxpayers dime. Previously all POTUS were given 10 years protection. How does this make you feel knowing he wants to
subvert the 2nd ammendment and destroy your right to have a gun?

What a piece of shit he is! When he takes our guns away, then his secret service agents should have to give theirs up too!

My question is how many guns are protecting him at any given time, 10,30?

Why didn't his Dad wear protection, so we would have our life time protection.

That legislation on lifetime protection also covers G.W.Bush.

Lifetime Secret Service protection for former presidents

"President Obama singed a law that grants lifetime Secret Service protection to former presidents and their wives. It applies to presidents elected after January 1, 1997 and reverses a law that ended protection ten years after a president left office. The protection could have only been extended on a temporary basis by the Homeland Security secretary. The idea behind the law is increased terrorist threats and the youth and mobility of former presidents. The new law also authorizes Secret Service protection for children of former presidents until they turn 16."

Simply based on the law only being retroactive to Presidents elected after '97, you have to assume that there is actionable intelligence regarding a threat against Bush. If that wasn't the case they would simply have covered all living President's and living wives of Presidents.

It was not in the best interest of the USA to drop the protection in the first place!

I can sum all this up by saying that he is going to need it. The bill was introduced by a Rep. and and seconded by a Rep.. The bill applies to any president in office after 1997. It applies to G. W. Bush and Hussien. The idea behind it is because those two are so young, they need protection even after the ten years. G. H. W. Bush and Barbara said goodbye to their detail, when they left the White House.

If he continues to rule as he is now, he'll need SS protection. It just amazes me that he has lasted this long without an attempt on him. But then who would want to be rid of the greatest giftgiver of them all. Consider what would follow him and which would be the worst of two evils?
