Now that the shoe is on the other foot the liberals are whining about judicial activism. But they sure liked it when their liberal judges did it over the last 40 years. What hypocrites.

Actually, "Judicial Activism" is a term which is used to describe courts "creating" laws, rights, etc, which have not been created or passed by the Legislature or, in the case of Roe vs Wade for instance, to create a "Right" which is nowhere enumerated in the Constitution. In the case of obamacare, the Supreme Court is only doing the job that is enumerated in the Constitution-that is, evaluating a legislative law in light of the Constitution to determine if it is in fact constitutional. That is what the Court is supposed to do. Once again, the left simply redefines a term to fit their agenda whenever it is convenient to them to do so, and the media goes right along with it.

I am still amazed this so callled educator of Contitutional law says the things he says, whrn any 5th grader knows more about the Constitution than Obama does.

Well between this and the dress down he gave them a couple years ago during his State of the Union address a couple years ago, lets hope they keep this in mind when they write their opinions.

I think if I were a SCOTUS justice that little speech would sway me.

If I were a SC justice, and he made that speech, I'd stuff his bill up his azz and tell him to "Tee it up again, a-hole!"

Whether you like it or not, no words should sway a Supreme court judge.

Their determinations should be strictly constitutional.

If all judgements by the SCOTUS were strictly constitutional, this would be a different country.

What's needed is a strong rebuke from the chief justice telling Obozo that he is tampering with the functions of the court, and remind him that the court does not answer to the president.

The court should reconsider Hussein's birth place.

It would be a LOT different,,,,,You would not find laws where there is NO Constitutional amendment providing for it,,,,,the states would have the power and NOT the feds,,,,,there would be no Roe v. Wade, etc.....

    Well now he did it!

A Circuit judge wants a brief from the Justice Dept, explaining Obama's position.

Now if they would just ignore the order and be in contempt of court.
