Here's some more....Where are our resident libs standing up for hussein????

This is a MUST listen to. It is not too long ... this should really rile you up!

Pres Obama's & the Democrat's Health Care Bill is unmasked. Would you want your government to
make it mandatory that you have counseling every 5 years on how to end your life sooner, so they don't
    have to "care" for you?!

Listen to the interview by Fred Thompson with Betsy McCaughey (former Lt Gov of NY), its quite
eye-opening, and some other eye-openers are mentioned also.

I know some may say its "scare tactics" (why escapes me, for she's simply quoting the bill), but if you'll
remember, Betsy McCaughey is the same woman who derailed the Hillary Clinton Health Care Plan
when ol' Wild Bill was in office; she actually read the entire bill and blew it apart. She's doing the same
    here, apparently.

You will have to cut and paste the show into the browser as the link is just too long or you can go to the link and click on Betsy MaCaughey's link....

    from Buck Chaney, Savannah, GA:

"Whenever a salesman offers his product/service for “a limited time only” or “you have to act now to take advantage of our offer” you know they do not want you to investigate other offers or examine their offer in detail. Just as past “fast-track” trade agreements have resulted in the decline (and inevitable destruction) of our manufacturing base, the president and congress want to ram bills through when few people have knowledge of their contents/ramifications. In the case of health care reform, Obama “does know” that this is another step toward socializing America - his agenda, damn the details. I have heard not a peep relating to tort reform in any discussions of this “reform”. Why is it that when factors, such as illegal immigration associated costs - slightly less than 20% of the California budget or tort actions - 30% of health care costs, are insignificant? On the other hand, CO2 emissions -000.2% of the atmosphere are dooming the planet (and Obama’s Commerce Secretary wants US taxpayers to pay for China’s carbon offsets)."

When you're gut feeling and brain agree, it should tell you something. This is bad with a capital B A D. We are being deceived into giving the Government on of our most personal things; our health and family's health. These idiots insult the constituency when they'll present a 1,000 page piece of SH*T and not even read it. Think about how much out kids and grandchildren will be screwed with having to pay for it. How, in all good faith, would you be able to answer how we let these gov't parasites suck us dry? It's a mistake laden by stupidity if we let it happen. BT-100dc

the whole "DO IT NOW OR ELSE" thing has me scratching my head as we.. Yes the country needs health care reform, yes it needs to happen soon, but????

The link though, thats what is interesting.

    From the site:

    "Our Mission
To formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense."

    Not slanted at all, right?

    And here is another goody.

Basically you are too bad to treat Bye Bye we will determine who goes to Obama Land.

NO WONDER THEY DID NOT GIVE ANYONE TIME TO READ IT!!! Better than the Energizer Bunny "keeps giong and going, and going"

The House version of the Health Care Bill is going to require (p 425-430) mandatory counseling for all seniors at a minimum of every five years, more often if the senior is sick or in a nursing home.

Just how many government trained counselors will that put into the work force? With an over 65 population of 38,000,000 US (Census, 2007), 4 counseling sessions daily, over 37,000, at a minimum, that's how many. Plus their supervisors, plus the report readers, plus the oversight agency.

Don't even think that anyone should receive mandatory counseling regarding the end of life issues surrounding abortion; that's a invasion of the right of privacy!

Think they're over-reacting? See for yourself: Here is the section dealing with end of life counseling for seniors.

This section talks about possible life sustaining treatment. These orders, of course, will be "standardized and uniquely identifiable throughout the State." This life sustaining treatment will be "guided by a coalition of stakeholders includes representatives from emergency medical services, emergency department physicians or nurses, state long-term care association, state medical association, state surveyors, agency responsible for senior services, state department of health, state hospital association, home health association, state bar association, and state hospice association."

Really? All those people are going to be involved in my health care decisions?

These counseling sessions may be more frequent than every five years: "An advance care planning consultation with respect to an individual may be conducted more frequently than provided under paragraph (1) if there is a significant change in the health condition of the individual, including diagnosis of a chronic, progressive, life-limiting disease, a life-threatening or terminal diagnosis or life-threatening injury, or upon admission to a skilled nursing facility, a long-term care facility (as defined by the Secretary), or a hospice program."

This section discusses level of treatment - whether or not life-saving measures will be attempted or if you will receive antibiotics:

The level of treatment indicated under subparagraph (A)(ii) may range from an indication for full treatment to an indication to limit some or all or specified interventions. Such indicated levels of treatment may include indications respecting, among other items--CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

‘(i) the intensity of medical intervention if the patient is pulse less, apneic, or has serious cardiac or pulmonary problems;CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

‘(ii) the individual’s desire regarding transfer to a hospital or remaining at the current care setting;CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

‘(iii) the use of antibiotics; andCommentsClose CommentsPermalink
‘(iv) the use of artificially administered nutrition and hydration.’.

One more time, let me say, this is simply too much government interference in personal, private issues of one's life. My health care is not my government's business.

Obama just moved the goal line from August to the end of the year. "Redefined his Objectives," if you will. No free health care yet, Obama Followers.

Gee - does this mean all those bammies who thought Obama was going to pay off their mortgages for them, are not going to be able to quit their jobs yet, after all? Shucks. This means to keep their coverage, they gotta remain productive for an extra 4 months, at least.

Life just sucks when you're an Obama Follower.

They have to get it done before August or when they come back from recess,,,,they will be in campaign mode (which hussein hasn't left) and they don't want to be making any questionable votes while on the campaign trail,,,,we are starting to see some HOPE for 2010!!!!

My 2 cents, the fix to our health care system its "Tort" reform!! and KEEP the Fed's away from it!!

Why is Tort reform not being debated? Could it be because 99% of our politican's are Lawyer's!!!!!!!!!!!

And you don't cut off the hand that feeds you!

Timberfaller: agreed on the tort reform. Ridiculous lawsuits and awards are what makes the malpractice insurance go through the roof, which is a major factor in medical costs.

Several years ago the cost of malpractice insurance was $150,000 a year, and I am sure it is double that today.

The lawyers and insurance companies are directly responsible for todays mess.

The Liberal Congress' solution is no improvement. They are selling an Edsel. It's modelled after the completely broken Massachusets system.

Everyone should push for the legislators to be in whatever system they propose, rather than have their own cushy special plan that no one else can access.

Proof that almost 40 percent of Americans are mentally retarded. When asked if they thought Obama's national health care would raise taxes only 63 percent said yes. Remember that when you go out in public. Nearly 40 percent of the people you see are as stupid as the dogs I feed every morning.

What has Obama said that 1) makes sense 2) he hasn't done the opposite 3) has lied to the Armerican people about? All three items include everything this man has done since he started his political life. Why should he stop now?
