Barrack Obama announced his 17th job creation and economic recovery program today. Unlike the previous 16 programs before it, Obama said this was a new and fresh approach with tax increases on the rich, extended unemployment benefits and government spending programs.

When asked by a reporter if Obama was aware that he lost his re-election bid some 3 years ago and has been since been residing in Martha Stewart's Home For The Crimmaly Insane, Obama screamed "Racist" and threw his half eaten cheeseburger at the reporter.

Meanwhile the economy showed it's 18th month of continued growth at a rate of 6.3 percent, and unemployment rate, slipped from 2.7 to 2.6 percent. President Palin said she would push the Republican House and Senate to cut more regulations in her address this week while naming her choices for the two vacant Supreme Court vacancies that opened up after the suicides of Giensburg and Kagen. While the country has had positive growth for the last 2-1/2 years, it is not enough President Palin said.

All the jobs this idiot wants to create are temporary jobs. Built a highway, built a school. That is great but when the job is finished the job is gone.
We need sustainable jobs. You know the ones. The ones that left for electronics, textiles, clothing and steel productions. We gave those away along with customer support etc. That idiot and most of congress can't get that though their heads. We gave away jobs for free trade. As Warren Buffet stated we export more now but we have learned how to import better

Last I knew, if you wanted to create a job in manufacturing, you had to have someone who wanted to buy what you were making and who had the money to afford to buy it.

Does the new Obamanomics eliminate the need for buyers?

Otherwise, where are the buyers going to get the money to have to spend to purchase what is being sold? If you make it and can't find a buyer you not only have wasted your money, time and resources, you have the additional payment for someplace to store it or to have it hauled away as junk.

Looks to me like rather than creating "JOBS" Obamanomics should cut down what the government is taking away from you thereby leaving you more money to spend to buy the product someone IS making. Create enough buyers and you will have to increase production which in turn creates more jobs.

When FDR pushed through the back to work CCC bill, large numbers of people were put to work on government projects. Yeah, socialism to be sure, but a lot of people had jobs and there was definite good being done, mainly for highways and dams for electricity.

Zero, on the other hand, spent an obscene amount of money to hire relatively few people, mainly for such public projects as extremely important airport parking garages.

According to CNN (chicken noodle network) on Monday the last $20 million they spent in stimulus $ on job creation in Washington state to re-weather strip houses for less thermal exchange during winter created 14....yes count them 14 jobs. Then they ran out of stimulus bucks in 6 months.

    Job creation my aching ass.

These idiots can't even make change for a frickin' dollar.

I thought that is what extending the tax cuts where supposed to do. That extra minimum of $30,000 per household of the wealthy was supposed to be spent on manufactured items in the United States so the economy would come back around. I guess they already had everything they needed or wanted, and decided to invest it so they could make more money, and take anvantage of the lower capitol gains taxes too. I would imagine that created some jobs, stock brokers, tax accountants, etc., but not much as far as manufacturing. Unless they decided they wanted a new Benz, or yacht. And we all know that did not happen as often as before the economic downturn. Now if the middle class would go spend there extra $300-$1000 per household on manufactured items it would more than likely put them in more finacial hock because they would spend more than the tax cut money, have to take a pay cut to keep there job, or they where laid off, and lose there house because it is now worth $50,000 less than what they have borrowed, and can't make the payments. Is this not what happened???? I can't wait to hear the expert opinions.
