Food for thought from Investor's Business Daily. Kind of sums up where we are.

"If President Obama had run in 2008 promising to cut family incomes, shove more people into poverty, create greater inequality and make people more dependent on the federal government — and that black Americans would fare worse than everyone else — would he have won that election?

Well, the latest Census Bureau report shows that these are precisely the results Obama has delivered since taking office."

Sure, people don't vote on logic, they vote on compassion and the desire to see certain things done for themselves. Example, the want Medicare for their aging parents, but don't consider the stress on our debt and burden on future generations.

More women vote than men, they are emotional and they put Obama in office.

Now understand, I am not knocking women, it just the make up as nature intended for them to nuture.

Didn't your mother insist you share with others less fortunate than you?

Women want security and stabilty, men want position and power.

If USA women were not allowed to vote as most Muslim countries,do you think Obama would have won the first time

Let's tell it like it is:
If a WHITE individual named Barack Hussein Obama with the ridiculously limited experience and the mysterious, highly questionable background that our President has, had shown up at Democrat Party HQ dcelaring he wished to run for President....HE WOULD HAVE BEEN LAUGHED OUT OF THE ROOM.
Here he is, coming BACK...with his pathetic record of FAILURE...asking for 4 more years...!!! This shouldn't even be a close race.

I just watched a TV commercial by Obama and he claims he "needs four more years to finish what he has started". Tom

Keep the uneducated under thumb by making them dependent on you for everything. You'll remain in control that's the way it works in Illinois anyway.

Bill Clinton is sure getting a lot of face time these days stumping for Obama.
What's up with that; is he trying to divert attention away from his honey and the mess she has on her hands?

Its as simple as this: Slick Willy is creating a bank of political markers at the DNC. He'll call those markers in when Hillary runs for POTUS in 2016.

Then the next question would have to be; Would McCain have made any difference? If Romney lost to McCain, in the primary back then, why would Independent, or undecided voters, vote for the loser Romney now? Maybe what you say of the majority of Americans, that are uninformed, ignorant, and selfish, may affect the supposed minority also. Relying on rhetoric, or trying to suppress votes to win an election, because you think that of the majority of voters, will surely lose an election. To insinuate that every voter that votes Democrat, is living off of your tax dollars, or even that every single person, of the 50 percent, that are not paying taxes, are doing nothing but sitting on their a$$ and collecting all of your tax money, is idiotic thinking at the least. I would call that out-of-touch, uninformed, and ignorant.

Maybe the supremacist ideology is biting you in the a$$, instead of the uniformed, ignorant, selfish, and idiotic theory. Just saying. Maybe other AMERICANS just don't see your candidate, the way you do. Romney has changed his ideology on so many things in the past year, from the past, that I can't believe even the hard core Right can trust him. He just seems to keep shooting himself in the foot, every time he opens his mouth. Do you think that maybe informed American voters are seeing this as just a reason to obtain votes?

If the Republicans would of had anyone close to believable, and in-touch with the middle class, of which most election deciding, Independent voters are, this would be a blow out election! The reason the numbers are this close is because of the candidate, not the voters. Why blame it on something, or someone else. Just saying.

Believe me,Romney is not my candidate but he is certainly the lessor of 2 evils. If you are right and Obama's vision of America is what the people want, and you are, this country is in a nose dive that will be hard to pull out of..When aspirational people, driven people, risk takers are scorned and punished the American dream is gone for good.Instead of the private sector prospering and creating new wealth and jobs we have the government conviscating wealth and metering out a meager existance to a bunch of dead weight.Government does not produce it only uses what others give it willingly or it takes. What happens when there are no more wealthy people to take from? You are right in that it is so because the majority wants it but that don't make it good or right. What made this country great is being pushed aside.
