O/T, Why would someone cut up a car like this?

    Wow, Miss Treasure Chest.

    As for the vehicle, manufacturers will often have a number of pre-production vehicles they cannot sell to the public for various reasons, mainly having to do with certifications. These are used to crash test, for modifications, for taking apart for writing repair manuals, etc. This is likely one of the cars that could not be sold.
