O/T Tailgate on trapshooting truck.

    take philips screws out of handle,,,,find linkage rods and hook back up to handle,,,,get new plastic clips that break

    should be two clips,,,if the clips poped that will do it,,,other possibleiyt is arm broke off handle inside ,,,that will be an obvious fix,,,new handle,,,,or linkage rods broke,,,,dont usuley see both bend at once tho,,,,good luck,,,and lube up everything good when done,,,,handle and the latches at the ends

    Yup, been there, done this on my 00. I know how to fix the problem very cheaply and with very little aggrivation. Chances are even when you get the rods hooked back up, the return springs will stop working, and the tailgate won't latch when you close it. Thanks for asking. So, how did you shoot sam?
