Hello everyone, hope you are having a great weekend. I have a question, when I take a shower, the water splatters on the wall, and over the years it has caused the wall to almost start to dry rot. I have put some plastic strips where the shower and wall meet, but this is just a temporary fix. I was wondering if there is something made I guess called a shower splash guard. Does anybody know if Lowe's or Home Depot carries anything like what it sounds like I'm looking for?

    Beretta...

If you ever replace the dry wall... I believe that there is a special grade of sheetrock that is green in color, and is specifically made for wet areas... It must be water proof/resistent, as my contractor used it in the area around our showers.....

Wonder Board. It is used as backing for ceramic tile.

Home Depot sells a Shower Wall Kit.

I put one in about a year ago. You'll need to knock out any greenboard that needs replacing and then install this kit. It is a big job. Took me two solid days doing it by myself.

    Here you go...

Cement board, with ceramic tile or tub surround on top. Any plasterboard underneath was a mistake and it should be removed. The contractors who did my bathrooms before I bought the house were idiots.
