I'm lusting for a ruger lever action model 96 in .22 long rifle, if you've got one and are interested in selling it let me know. Thanks

Right you are...no longer offered in .22LR, it was discontinued about 5 years ago...that's why I'm askin' if anyone out there has one they no longer use and are looking for a buyer...if so, I'm your guy

I'd just go out and buy a Marlin 39A. A lot more accurate and better looking to boot!

    Just my thoughts though.

Why would you want one when there are far better 22 lever guns out there?

Rea5339...you're a good man I'll be watching that site...truth is I've searched all the gun "sites" on the internet, I'll be darned I missed that one...thanks. As to why I want that rifle as opposed to "better" ones...some people like chevys or fords or pontiacs or mercurys or buicks or plymouths...well you get the message. The real reason I want it is "because I do"
