Local shooting clubs receives FWP grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks has awarded a shooting range development grant to the Great Falls Shooting Sports Complex and plans to give one to the Great Falls Skeet Club, too.

The GFSSC is about 3 miles north of Great Falls. The grant will provide $34,175 in partial funding to install four trap ranges in existing skeet fields and to improve the pistol range.

The agency plans to give the Great Falls Trap and Skeet Club, located north of Ulm $10,967 to install sidewalks on the trap fields, purchase and install outdoor light assemblies and construct an 8- foot by 16-foot covered shelter.

The only thing I fear after recieving a grant from any gov't is that they are now in your business and they will use the monies gift as a means of controlling the function of your club.
