O/T Maple trees with leaf damage

    Here are some pics of a few maple trees in the area that are sick and I would like to know what it mite be.

    Mites are real common on sugar maples and silver maples. They don't do any real damage, they just look ugly. If you really want to do something next year you can spray the trees with sevin or diazanon until the leaves are about half full size but it's really not worth the trouble and money.

    Look in the phone book for the county extension office. You can usually describe the problem over the phone and they will identify it. Ask about suggestions for control. They all tend to be exremely helpfull. Tony
