It appears to be a bag to carry a field radio in.

Steve, believe that the 'G' could be a 'C'

    From bcx-iii.com/fieldgear.html

G.130. Korean War. Original U.S. Army cased vehicle tow 6 volt black out lamp that was used on jeeps, 3/4 ton and 2/1/2 trucks when towing a trailer or 37 mm / 75 mm field artillery. The black out light's bakelite plug plugged into the back of the jeep or truck for electricity. The light itself was mounted on the vehicle being towed using a large metal bracket device. The 1/2+" diameter lamp cord is 16' long. The black out light is housed in a large heavy OD color canvass bag with a shoulder sling. The bag has a rigid leather bottom to support the light's weigh. The bag is stenciled CS - 76 -B and is in very good condition. The bakelite electrical plug is hall marked WARNER ELECTRIC BRAKE MFG. CO. BELOIT, WIS. USA and dated 1951. The light has the serial number A1941 and has INDUSTRIAL LAMP stamped on the lamp's face. This is a nice WWII/ Korean war vehicle accessory in good condition....................$235.

    FWIW, Stan
