Yes, thats a fairly good deal if yu are looking for that size bike. It aint a touring bike but some people like them. They are not the best seller but better than a sportster. No EFI either??

cubancigar, the sportster is the most dependable, best handling harley made as well as best selling. Don't let your bias interfere with facts.

Ha, Juno are you on crack? The wind would blow one of those toys off the road, not to mention after 1000 miles a day I would be ready for the hospital

I don't use crack. Of course it is going to be blown around in a strong wind more then a road king. Who would argue? But the fact is, it handles better. Even though no Harley is built for handling. You want handling, buy a BMW. Again the sportster has always been Harley's most dependable and best selling as well as the longest made.

ran200, that's a fair deal on the 2000 Super Glide.

Aren't Sportsters for women? Whenever I see a man riding a Sportster he just looks out of place... cls

No harm meant, just my opinion... I just hope you're not overweight Juno, nothing looks worse than a fat guy on a Sportster... cls

I'm 5'6" and weigh 225lbs. Is that too fat for a sportster?

Between my wife and I we have owned 7 Harleys, my wife really took riding serious with her Dnya low rider, she was 59 when she decided to take the front seat, after she got to be a good rider she moved up to a Fat Boy, although she allredy had one (me) I enjoyed the Dyna what little I rode it, in her case the new 883 Sporster I bought her was not a good choice but I understand the new ones have solved the vibration problems, the Dyna your looking at is a fair price for the bike with the goodies and the low mileage, I really like the Carb better than the EFI, as posted above for long road trips there are better rides. Keep in mind Harley only makes two motorcycles anyway... Electra Glides and then the others.... let the games begin Hahahaha.

Now theres a scoot I would really like to own, a nice FL Panhead, worst bike I ever tried to start was an old 45 flathead that had a mind of its own as to when it wanted to run, I am old enough to have kicked many of them and have.

Nothing sounds better than a well tuned Pan head at idle. Speak to me old V Twin God!!
