I live in central West Virginia and our deer buck season is about to close. In the county I'm in and the adjoining counties it has been a bad season, Everyone I talk to says they are not even seeing does which normally run you over. We had a bad winter last year and don't know if that had a bad effect this year. Just wondering If your season was good?

Our deer herd in Western MD is half what it was last year, but we had 6'-10' of snow on the ground Feb and March, only the ones close to a good food source survived. Joe

Ohio deer population gets bigger each year despite bag limits.

My neighbor says bow hunters have had less success baiting the fields as the supply of acorns has been plentiful.

I'm sure any out of staters would be welcome as the population is out of control.

I have posted a link( if I did it right) that may help.

    Regards....Gerald
