I believe the Bugatti is $1.8 MILLION. The japs have an all wheel drive electric car that will go 0-100 in FOUR SECONDS, is just as fast (250+ MPH), street legal, and is "only" $300K.

I need batteries like that in my HEARING AIDS!!! LOL

Doesn't Neil WInston do most of the testing here? At his own expense? It seem that testing these cars should fall to him, at his own expense of course.....

Shooting Coach- Can you get us some better details on that elec. car. Website maybe? People don't relize the power of electric cars. Even the GM EV1 would blow the doors off of a Mazda miata and the Nissan 300ZX from 0-80. The reason being is they have max torq. as soon as you hit the pedal vs. a gas engine that needs to be rev'd into the power curve.

VW is NOT owned by Porshe, nor the other way around. They simply have a business relationship in the production of their Toureg/Cayenne only as far as the body is concern. Porsche still makes their own engines and tranys.

Porche is increasing thier ownership stake in VW. They will possibly have controlling interest in VW.....FYI...Porche is the most profitable auto maker on the planet based on profit margin per vehicle.

I'll take a new Z06 and pocket the change! 198mph is good enough for me.
