Anybody have an opinion of the new (Japan) T-Bolt .22LR? They do not come with sights, what would be a suitable scope?

very nice but I would look for an old model, spend the dough and have a real piece of art. the T 2 should go for 500 and up.

Wish I'd kept mine and not sold it in a moment of weakness! I use a Leupold 4X compact on my Kimber and it works great. If you can find an origal T-bolt, they were available with a 4X Browning labelled scope (made by Redfield I think). That would be a nice find!

Be careful on some of the 60's Tbolts as they could have salt wood. A friend has one that was salt wood and Browning redone the whole rifle for him at no charge, but when you take it out of the wood the bottom of the rifle has heavy pitting.
