Still wish the entire state would fall into the ocean so it wouldn't suck the life out of the rest of us.

    P.S. nothing personal ;-)

I have a small vacation unit there by the beach in one of Steve's buildings, trust me, I can tell who is most likely local. LOL.

I'll see you Hermosa beach, and raise you Hapuna beach. Check out the world's largest mountain in the background, 56,000 ft from its base spectacular view too!

Mauna Loa rises 30,085 ft above the sea floor, but is so massive 60,000 to 80,000 cubic kilometers it sinks another 26000 ft into the earth's crust. Hence 56,000 ft. Did you try hunting mouflon sheep while you were here?

Lived in Manhattan Beach for several years right behind The Strand and watched the ladies/girls practicing volleyball. Damn! They were beautiful and actually very nice people. Set up my sand chair and watched. In my sixties and still appreciate the view. Fred

Hell, I never saw the ball, did notice the "valley Girls."

We left CA long ago. Dad was tired of the traffic and crowding.

    Vern,

I took the picture at lunch, I was sitting 100 feet away, testing my iPhone camera's zooming feature.

The nude beach is located in a rather remote beach under a cliff in Palos Verdes, never took the hike to go check it out, but from what I heard, there's no such thing as beautiful girls there, mostly old and saggy. There're no civilizations in the area, no cafe to hang around, you are either joining them or you are peeping. LOL
