Hi All ~ I have to brag a bit....this week was a big one for our family. My daughter Kathy graduated from high school and took the oath to join the United States Navy. She ships out for basic training in September, so this summer will be her last time shooting in Arizona for a while. Mom and Dad couldn't be more proud of their baby girl.

She will be doing her basic training at the Great Lakes training center north of Chicago, then going to San Diego for tech school to be a sonar technician. There's not much use for sonar operators on land, so she'll be 'haze gray and underway' for most of her 4 years....or longer if she decides she likes it and wants to stay.

Don't worry ~ her guns will be here waiting for her when she can use them again. <big grin>

Hey, that's great! I am sure she will do you proud(not that you aren't already) I did one hitch in the U.S.Navy right out of high school and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. She will have a great time and learn a lot.
