O/T Anyone finding any Mushrooms

    Been out twice around Dayton, Ohio and got skunked both times. Have only heard of small blacks being found in this area. Heading back out weds night. Paul

    Found a small group of Greys - ground conditions are perfect but needs to warm up here in Idaho

    The only thing better eating are Bluegills through the ice ( or maybe some Walleyes)

    yeah sometimes. I found out years ago that waiting for 80 degree weather was the wrong thing to do.

    Morrels are long gone here in NC. Being from Ohio, I still Look for them. Kalkaska, Michigan was our favorite place to go in the early 70's.

    I know a few people who still have relapses from the ones they tried in the 60's ... You can tell by the blank look on thier faces when you ask them something ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    Picked some 2 weeks ago in Virginia. We call them "wood fish" 'cause they make your house smell like fish when they're cooked.

    Blue gills, morels and wild asparagus Ahhhh...I remember getting a mess of all three in one day, now I'm just "one a timing it."

    Yes I did the Bluegill, Morel & Asparagus thing in one day many times up in Michigan years ago. Thats a real Grand Slam

    I ate those three at the same time once. Afterward, it looked like someone loaded up a 12GA. with a can of Dinty Moore beef stew and fired it at the toilet.
