O/T Airbags and Guns

    Had to take my p/u to the dealer for an interminent "service air bag" light. After running their diagnostics, they told me that the magnetic sensor under the driver's seat was being disrupted by my pistol which I keep under the seat. So much for carrying all metal pistols under the seat. I guess I'll have to go to a plastic pistol so my airbags will work.

    That's a new one I've never heard of before.

    Damn, when I saw the title, "Airbags & Guns" I thought surely Shootlow had to somehow be involved.

    Metal floor, seat frame, I smell BS. Is your gun magnetic? What a crock. I keep my metal 357 under the seat and have no problems.

    I agree. There's a funny odor here. I think the dealer doesn't know what he's talking about....
