Just imagine what the ammo background check will cost?

Neither of them will have an effect on anything except making life difficult and expensive for NY sportsmen. Certainly no effect on crime.

If the state says it'll cost 27.7m, multiple that by at least 10x to get the real cost. They scrapped COBIS b/c it was draining the state budget, the ammo background check registry, handgun registry, and assault weapon registry will DWARF that in financial terms.

It will be interesting to see what effect all of the goings on in NY will have with the large shoots in NY State.

I will be up for the three biggies at Cicero. Hope they fare well with the increase in Ammo Prices, fees, etc....Ammo sales will surely be an issue NEXT year if this SAFE law isn't ammended.

Who knows what's next for NY..Sad, very Sad situation indeed.
