    .

As Nancy Pelosi has said, we first have to pass it in order to find out what's in it.

In New York's Democrat Governor Cuomo's rush to be the firstist with the mostest, he has banned all the magazines in the policemen's handguns and rifles. Except for an undercover cop with a snubnose revolver or backup pistol, all the regular cops all across New York are carrying illegal guns -- assault weapons -- and are felons tonight for doing so. There is no exemption for police weapons in the Democrat governor's landmark legislation.

So don't call a cop tonight. He will be committing a felony if he shows up armed with his regulation handgun, rifle, or shotgun.

On Mark Levin tonight, he made a point and I'll paraphrase: The New York police, with no exemption in the New York law, are afraid they'll be outgunned by the criminal; also, the Legislature and Governor really doesn't seem to care that the citizen will be outgunned also by the criminal. You great sportsmen in New York deserve much better than many of your low information voters, liberals and others elected. These people really do not care about your safety and your 2nd Amendment rights. BT100dc

An exemption is in the works.

And check out this palatially stupid quote: <i>State Senator Eric Adams, a former NYPD Captain, told us he's going to push for an amendment next week to exempt police officers from the high-capacity magazine ban. In his words, "You can't give more ammo to the criminals"</i>

But apparently it's OK if the criminals out gun law-abiding citizens.

    What an idiot.

The Gubnr understands that you don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Just look at the "guns" he brought to bear in Monday's fistfight. He's not concerned about the honest citizens / public servants. His principle concern lies at 1600 Penn. Ave, and will do what ever it takes to make that his address someday. BUT NOT THIS TIME! He so screwed himself with this POS legislation that he became unelectable as a result of it. Way to go tony!

Exactly GWII. The citizens should be able to protect themselves with the same capacity. All lives being equal.

Numbers to remember these days are not 7, 10, or 30.

    Just 12 or 6.

You NY residents need to fire off letters NOW, asking why is this concern for police officers greater than it is for law abiding citizens?
