I looking at the NRA ratings for Reid and Angle they rate Angle an A and Reid a B. At least they're rating Angle above him.

Reid is lower than a snake, how can he even be rated. I smell something wrong here.

Sounds like ws-1 with another name.....

The NRA is celebrating 139...one-hundred and thirty nine years of protecting gun rights....perhaps, you need to go to your local library and read a bit about the history......

Again, are these people impetuous youth? Or, ignorant mutants?

Apparently the NRA increased Reid further... to an undeserved A.

    Outrageous.

Brian I got their newletter yesterday and he's a B I don't think he deserves that. There's a picture of him shooting trap with a bolt action shotgun on the wall in Fallon, what a bunch of bull. I got recorded calls from Sarha Palin, Mike Huckabee, Johm McCain and Newt Gringrich yesterday wanting me to vote against Dirty Harry, he's toast.

Come on Nevada. Vote that little bastard and his little bastard the hell out of the state. I don't care what the NRA says. I support the NRA generally but Harry's had to have cut a deal with the NRA for them to continue to back a man like that.

That's what Harry's all about. Back room, Democrat like, smoke filled room, deals. He's what we're trying to get out of Washington.

I'd love to see him collecting Keno bets at the coffee shop at Circus Circus. Best place for that clown.

It's a matter of whether you trust Harry Reid or Sharron Angle. Who do you trust when it comes to your Second Amendment rights? I'm from Ohio and I must disclose that I sent a contribution to Sharron Angle. I'd rather send her the money versus me buying 2 bags of shot. If you're happy in Nevada with the direction the country is headed then feel free with going with Harry Reid. When it comes down to my individual belief of who would be better to guard my Second Amendment rights, I'll sacrifice the 2 bags of shot. BT-100dc

Amazing how some people get upset when the NRA is taken to task for something they screwed up on. Reminds me of a whore in the parlor. Everyone knows she's there but no one is supposed to talk about it in public.

Brian....you have your beloved "black rifles" because of the NRA....GOA do not amount to HORSESHIT....in the halls of Congress....they have NO CLOUT......No one in Congress gives a rat's ass about their views....because Brian, they have NO POLITICAL CLOUT....We are talking HORSESHIT, Brian....HORSESHIT.....

So drop to your knees and thank your blessings there is an NRA to effectively lobby Congress....

Without them, Brian, you would not have your beloved black rifles!

If you don't like Wayne Lappiere, run for office and vote him out....you are angry with the NRA administration, not the NRA....make the distinction....because you sound like an INGRATE!

    NRA: FREEDOM!

Just so nobody gets the wrong idea, the picture on the wall at the Fallon club of Harry shooting his bolt action shotgun is our attempt at humor and also the photo was taken at the new facility in LV....we don't like Harry either.

Today is the day we settle that race, lets hope for the best.

That is IT!.....you won't be getting a Christmas card from Wayne!

Don't forget....start accusing the NRA for global warming and the extinction of the Looney bird...(although I think the Looney's weren't all extinguished)...

Yeah, trivialize the NRA's support of an anti-gunner.

Wayne LaPierre did a John Kerry flip flop. He was against Reid before he was for him.

The sad fact is the NRA can no longer be trusted to put an accurate rating on a politician. Many are going to have to consult with the GOA for accuracy.

When it comes to politician ratings, NRA = Not Relevant Anymore.

GOA? Who are they? Does anyone in Congress know these folks?

What, pray tell, did....what's that name again?....GOA....who did they get elected?

Who Brian? Who did they directly, effectively get elected?

Let's see: They offered 3 votes....you, Zorro and Wireguy....sorry to tell you, but three votes don't get anyone elected.

Now Brian, given that you live in the People's Republic of Oregon, how did you and your GOA allies allow all those LIBERALS to get elected in your own backyard?
    Where was GOA in Oregon?

If Sharron would have kept her mouth shut about the illegals she would have won.

    Inexperience.

The problem is we need inexperienced people in Washington. The career politicians have damn near destroyed the country.

Slick campaigning still works. HR had one of the best ads out there, unfortunately. (according to Frank Luntz)

    BREAKING NEWS!
    FLOX news, 11/02/10

In a stunning and unexpected victory, the democrats re-took solid control of the United States senate, capturing a total of 37 new seats. Said NRA spokesman Bangalore, "It was all done through mature and sophisticated dealmaking with members of the democrat party. Pundits from one end of America to the other were predicting a republican sweep of the senate, but due to NRA's sophisticated and mature deal making the senate is now safely in the hands of people who once claimed, in a moment of panic, that they were friends of the second amendment. It was like taking candy from a baby. The republicans just didn't have the intellectual capacity to defend themselves in the face of NRA's sophisticated wheeling and dealing. There's a lot of people trying to take credit for NRA's victory, but the truth is it was the mature and sophisticated back-room deal making performed by NRA that won this victory for the democrats."
When tea party leader Sarah Palin was asked about NRA's claim that the entire sweeping change in the face of the Senate was their work, she was quoted as saying "At first we assumed tea party enthusiasm, work and education would win the day, but we quickly realized our attempts to win those seats for the conservative cause were lost, due entirely to the sophisticated deal making on the part of NRA. I'm afraid there is going to be a bit of unhappiness on the part of citizens who thought their votes were going to carry the day, but they are just going to have to face the truth. This democrat victory was brought about through NRA's superior knowledge and sophisticated deal making. We put up solid pro second amendment candidates, fully expecting they would be victorious, but through some not-yet-understood, mature and sophisticated tactics by NRA, something too complex for us to understand, the democrats crushed us. The huge feather in their cap, the re-election of far leftist Harry Reid back to the senate, was one of the most stunningly unexpected victories in the history of politics. We obviously have a lot to learn from NRA."
Conservative commentators all over America are asking how NRA could have pulled this off. "It's simply beyond us" said Bill Oh-Really. "We still have no comprehension of the level of sophistication in NRA's tactics. They promote themselves as defenders of freedom and get democrats elected. We simply can't get our arms around that. It takes the concept of mature, sophisticated intellectualism to a whole new level."

One last time for me - first, I donated to Angle's campaign 3 times.

Guns were never an issue in this Nevada election - NRA recommendation made zero difference.

Registered Dems in Nev outnumber Reps by a 100,000 voters - that fact alone did not help Angle.

Angle was not smart enough to keep her mouth shut and kept saying the dumbest things - "believing Yucca mountain is OK". Yucca Mountain is OK with me cause I live in Delaware. If I lived in Nevada, I would be just like everyone else in that state and would be asking why are the feds trashing my backyard?

I could go on and on but that is pretty boring - especially to me. So I want close by saying to the NRA bashers - The NRA probably made a thousand recommendations across the United States. How many of them were wrong? Can you point to a pattern here? If so - please show here. I would consider a pattern to be at least 25% - probably around 250 different recommendations across the states. that is an average of 5 per state. I can tell you that the NRA recommendations for Delaware were spot on.
