Has anyone taken the NRA/ATA trap coach class? Is it worth the time and money? What did you like best about it?

    Thanks,

    Jon

I took it in September and think it was worth doing. A significant amount of time is spent on gun safety and liability, etc. The program is geared toward an SCTP plan with new shooters, but would work in any training scenario. We had Jim McDiffett as an instructor and he did a great job. Bill Malcolm

    Dear Jon

What part of the country are you in? Make SURE the Trainer has gone through the Natl' Coach Development Staff camp! There are a few folks Coach Moody signed off on before he left the NRA program that are absolute frauds. A local one has really damaged the program by teaching HIS method, not the NRA's. BTW, his method is crap. Call Don Sipes at NRA HQ's, and ask him.
