Now, to refinish the entire stock.

    I didn't intend to delete this post, but it seems I did. I was merely boasting about my refinishing prowess. Nothing vital. Regardless, here it is again.

    The comb piece is coming along well and I may have to work on the rest of the stock in the fall. The comb isn't perfect - YET. Still a few coats of TruOil to go.

    If your repaired comb matches the stock (which it looks like it will) I wouldn't refinish the butt stock. You can rub the Tru Oil to a high gloss with a little effort.
