It's 11:30 Saturday night and there isn't 1 damn Cowboy movie, on my Time Warner cable system. WTH has happened to this country? I just got back from walking the dog, and I'm a little keyed up so I thought I would kick back and watch a cowboy movie and drink a couple of beers.

Now what? "Goodfellas" is on but I've seen in 10 times. Saturday night was "Gunsmoke" night when I was a kid, and half the programs on TV were Westerns. Now you can't find any. I think we know now, when this country started going to crap.

If you've got high speed internet try:

    http://www.myeasytv.com/movies/category/western

    For "old tv" try:

    http://whitesprings.cstreaming.com/wsm

    homepage: http://whitesprings.tv

    If you've got dial-up....forget it.

Save your money & wait for Cowboys & Aliens to hit the rental places. It's ok but not worth more than the $1 rental fee.

Springsteen said it best. "57 channels and nothing on".

I have those three as well as hundreds more western movies. I have most all of Clint Eastwood's movies. Mine are all on VHS and I need to start transferring them to DVD. I am running out of space.Ray

Well it's Sunday night and still not one cowboy movie to stay up and watch and drink beer too.

Is it any concidence that the same time they stopped showing cowboy movies on cable this country's credit rating was downgraded by Standard & Poors? I think not.

No more rugged individualism in this country. 65 channels and not a damn thing worth watching.

See if you have a used DVD store in your area. I do, and haunt it all the time looking for cheap western, science fiction, war movies, film noir, classics, and other movies not often seen on cable, if ever.

I found a taped interview of Ann Coulter on CSPAN that they are playing tonight. Been watching it for the last hour. This woman is brillant, and she never looked better. It actually looked like she ate a sandwhich or something before the interview. Looking good Ann.

Neither of my two sons (24 & 22) have ever watched a John Wayne movie! I've asked them to watch 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance' with me and they say, "Maybe next time, Dad ......'

Today's generation of movie-goers has different values than we do! They've been weaned on (admittedly good) special effects and action, rather than acting.
