The youth trapshooting team will be selling gun raffle tickets at the Williams County monthly shoot Sunday. The remaining tickets are winding down- so get yours Sunday! This is a fabulous progarm sponsored by Larry Potterfield and Midway USA. Midway will match $7750 of the funds raised in the raffle, and deposit it in an endowment fund that will be used to support our local youth shooting for years to come. They have also deposited $1000 per team that we took to the Ohio State SCTP championships, and have offered a $5000 bonus if we complete the raffle in 2011! $4750 of the ticket sales stays with the youth club to support this year, and we can then request funds from the endowment account.

Our drawing for the guns will be held August 13th following the Williams County Gun Club ATA shoot. The kids are going to cook steaks for all who bought a ticket that attend the drawing on Aug. 13th, and the traps will be open for practice or games.

And here's the best part: Due to the generosity of the officers of the closed West Unity Sportsmens Club, tickets are only half price! They are paying half the price of every ticket the kids sell, so the $50 ticket is selling for $25.

This program will supplement our youth shooters for many years to come, see a youth shooter for your ticket.

Thanks to Midway USA and the West Unity Sportsmens' Club for the support!
    Joe Nester

    Big Don-

That 28 gauge would be sweet for you. Then you could shoot it in caps and give me a chance to beat you! (Maybe?)
