Did I read this post correctly? Is this a one day shoot? Most zone shoots are two day day shoots.

This isn't the Illinois northern zone shoot, that is held in September and is a two day shoot.

This is the zone shoot for the Illini Indians, and is only a one day shoot.

    Received Program today

    Handicap 18-21,22-23,24-25,26-27

I prefer shoots where 18-19 are an addition grouping among themselves.

As a 21 yard shooter maybe it's just sour grapes.

But I bet most 27 yard shooters would object to shooting against 24 yarders

Agree Bob, it's a way to make 4 classes instead of 5. Saves on trophies but hurts attendance in the long run. I feel the same way about 4 classes in doubles and no AA. When I ran shoots I added AA class to doubles trophies and was amazed at the number of shooters that championed the change, both A and AA shooters. Harv

This thread is for this Sunday's Illini Indian shoot, but the comments here make this worth mentioning:

Northbrook will be hosting a 2 day Illini Indian shoot on August 31 and September 1, with 200 singles on Saturday and 100 caps/50 pair on Sunday. The program and presquadding.com stuff should be in place by August 1.

What makes it worth mentioning here is that the September 22 date shown on your Illini Indian card is incorrect. I'll post it again in its own thread later, but the correct dates are August 31 and September 1.

Maywood is always a good shoot. Sunday's weather is 74 degrees, mostly sunny and 11 MPH WNW, 10% chance of precip. Looks like good shooting weather. Wouldn't miss it.

All scores have been posted here on Trapshooters.com. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

On behalf of Maywood Sportsmens Club, we would like to thank all who attended. The weather cooperated and gave us a cool but beautiful day to enjoy a day of trap shooting.

Hopefully, we'll see you next year...
