Come out and join us for a real fun shoot on the 16th. We are going to shoot 100 non-registered Targets for $35.00 with $15.00 going into the pot. The whole point of the shoot is to create shootoffs in 4 classes. With just 30 shooters, the winner of each of these shootoffs will win at least $100.00! How's that for nice little pucker factor? The Club will provide lunch after the shoot and practice fields will be available before and after.

All participants will shoot 50 targets from both the 16 and the 22 yard lines. The purse will be split amongst four shooters in the following manner: 1. 30% to the Champion. 2. 70% to be split equally amongst the A Class winner, the B Class winner and the C Class winner. 3. The A Class will be determined by subtracting two from the champion ’s score. The B Class will be determined by subtracting three from the A Class score. The C Class will be determined by subtracting three from the B Class score.

By example: Assuming 30 shooters. The high score is 96. The A class would be all the 94s. The B Class would be all the 91s. The C Class would be all the 88s. If no one posted the designated score for a class then that class would drop to the next score down and all lower classes would adjust accordingly. In this example, assuming 30 shooters, the purse would be $450.00. The champion would get 30% of $150, or $112.50. The other 3 class winners would split the remaining $300.00, or $100.00 each. All ties will be shot off in 10 shot rounds.

First squad out at 9:00 am. Call Gary at 805 732 4880 to pre-squad.

    Looks like a fun shoot.

Line four of the third paragraph above should read 30% of $450, not 30% of $150.

    E. Beaver won. Not only is he good at math, he's good at shooting. 'Cause he's good at math, I bet he couldn't have been given a short payoff. Way to go Charlie.
