One registered trapshoot in NC this upcoming weekend:

Saturday October 24th - Ft. Bragg Gun Club - typical 300 target program.

86 year old JC Nunn is going through a "late life" crisis growing that unruly mop of hair. He likes to call it his "winter" look. JC tied Tommy Brown for HOA with a 283x300 last weekend at the Rockingham Gun Club. That is correct 283x300 at 86 years old:)

I'm going to be in NC this weekend. I'll be near Ashville, is the Buncomb club near there? What is the address if it is. This Fla. shooter likes western NC, can't wait for grouse season. Jack

Oh my the Homegrounds in October what a beautiful place to be. The picture taken above was shot at the HOF in October 2008.

Fall Shoot At The North Carolina Homegrounds

    Friday - 100 singles - 100 caps - 50 pair doubles

    Saturday - 200 singles - 100 handicap

    Sunday - 50 pair doubles - 100 handicap

I hope everybody has a great time and can't wait to see who is on the leader board! Looks like they got the grass cut in front of the traps and that is good news!!

OK it is that time of the week again to see where and when you can shoot Trap in North Carolina.

Saturday November 14th - two events in NC:

Rockingham Gun Club's Fall Classic - typical 300 target program using PAT traps and ERAD's. I believe BBQ will be served for lunch.

Durham County Wildlife Club - typical 300 target program and they always have a great lunch provided by the skeet shooters I believe.

Sunday November 15th - one event in NC:

Old Hickory@Rocky Mount - typical 300 target program and they also prepare and serve a great hot lunch.

PS - that is me testing out the toys at the Toys 4 Tots shoot at the Buckhorn GC - lol

With the weather we have had recently, those Lawry targets at Gastonia will be
    tough as boilerplate.

I didn't get a program from Gastonia so I don't really know? trapperg - I broke 100-91-98 at Gastonia in August one year. I was hurling the lumber at the Lawry's I must admit..

Is the food at Gastonia as good as it is at Buckhorn? If so I will book my hotels right now.
