Actually, it's a good bit higher than that. I have recently switched to an adjustable rib Seitz barrel for that very reason. Nora

Nora i have a 14 daughter this was her first year shooting. She has been shooting this summer with me and the first round she is really smooth. She is hitting around 21 22 most of the time .The next round she drops down to 16 17 .I think she is getting tired but how to i keep her sprits up. She loves it so much but she gets upset on that second round. Thanks

It's a hard problem to diagnos over the net. If I had to guess, I would say recoil is a problem in the later rounds. Find out where, if any, her gun is hurting her and try to resolve the problem. Then there is the physical aspect, is she in shape? Can she physically shoot several rounds? Let me know how it works out. Nora

Nailer, why don't you just let her shoot the first round and no more?
That would boost her confidence quitting after a good score.

It might be that her being a young lady she can't take the recoil for 50 shots or isn't physically up to it yet.

Good to see young people shooting.

    Nora,

You are gracious and a wonderful help; I told Phil about the pic. and he impressively related what a fine shooter you are. That's rare from him about any shooter..

    Regards,

    Nora,

Did I ever send you the group picture from your Honolulu class?
