Indeed a great accomplishment. She just finished a clinic here in CA and proved she is as great a teacher as she is a shooter.

The reason Nora wasn't higher on the list is because of limit number of tournaments she participated. In my book she still is "The First Lady of Trapshooting".

She isn't just good, she is one of the best ever. She belongs on a very short list of amazing sports figures. She should be listed with the likes of Bobby Jones(never finished lower than second in any tournament), Johnny Weissmuller(won every race he entered), Wayne Gretsky(averaged 200 points for three seasons in a row) and Lance Armstrong(won 7 Tour de France races). As far as I know, Nora is the only woman ever to win Singles, Handicap, Doubles, All Around and Overall in a single tournament.

32 Time All American is a record that will stand forever I believe. Yes she is the only woman to ever win the Grand Slam and has a huge man's ring to prove it. She has no hidden agenda, ego or any other reason to not be friendly and courteous to anyone and will offer advice to anyone who may ask. I believe they broke the mold after Nora got here!

I've never seen her shoot, but she has two lovely English Setters that I know something about. Congratulations Nora. Hope that ugly husband of yours is doing well. Gerry Addison

    Congrats, Nora !

If there was an All American good guy list you would have made it 32 times also.

Congratulations. Of course she's a good shot, but combined with her ability to analyze and instruct, add that to her self-effacing humor, great communication skills and tremendous work ethic, well, what a privilege to have had the opportunity to take one of her clinics. If you EVER have the chance, jump on it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
