Tom - Hope you are well! Will we see you at the State Shoot this year? I only wish we had lights! Unfortunately we still do not.. Our agreement with the landowners (OSFL Club) and our neighbors allows us to shoot 3 days a week and until dark (not before noon on Sunday)

Our youth program runs until dark on Friday evenings right up till June when it ends. We are very fortunate to have good relationships with our neighbors. Several of their kids are shooting in our youth program and we have several fathers that have started coming to shoot and bringing their sons and daughters..

By the early May we should be able to shoot until 8:30 - my expectation is we won't have so many squads that we cannot move them through two traps in 2 1/2 hrs.

I guess we would never know if we didn't give it a try! I chose Wed evening to complement Roger Edgington's program at New Pittsburg. If it grows too big for Wed evening we may consider Sunday afternoon like the old days... I have tried to avoid Sundays as courtesy to Monroe and Geneva and we are not planning to run our program past September at this point...

Scott, thanks for taking the lead on posting this on TS.COM. For the shooters that want to print out the New Pittsburg schedule, go to the website of
www.npsc1960.com and the schedule is there.

I hope we have a great turnout for both clubs.

I only wish Tom Rhoads were around to add to the fun of the evening but our loss is the hoosier states gain.

Damn, I wouldn't even have to take up a "pot" like we used to do! I have a feeling these will be big successes to both of you! Roger, I am planning to come to your Zone! Sounds like it will be well enough attended to justify the trip! Sure could use some of that Ohio $! Tom Rhoads

Is there a shoot this wednesday night? I know it's listed on the schedule but I figured I would check and make sure nothing has changed. Hope to see everyone wednesday

    Chris,

The next Calcutta at Copley is July 9th.. I had a typo on the website until this morning that said July 7th - my fault...

This coming Wednesday (July 2nd) the Calcutta is at the New Pittsburgh club. We alternate Wednesdays with some exclusions due to the big shoots..

New Pittsburgh is located in between Wooster and Ashland - there is a link to their site on www.copleytrap.com which has directions if you need them..

    Thanks!

I was looking at the New Pittsburg schedule I don't know why I thought it was Copley. Hopefully the weather holds and I'll be there this wednesday and next wednesday to shoot Copley.

    thanks
