I recently returned from a 10 day cruise on the Princess Cruise ship "Island Princess" from Ft Lauderdale to Panama Canal etc.
On the cruise ship, there is a wireless WiFi system so you can connect with email and the net for all the reasons you do it at home. Anyway, I connect with TS.com like all of you just to see whats new and keep in touch with my favorite pastime, trapshooting.
Well guess what! TS.com was Blocked! I couldn't get it, so after trying a few times, I realized this must be some sort of block on guns. Sure enough, I couldn't connect to gunbroker, gunsamerica, or any others I could think of. Kind of put a damper on my vacation, but I guess we are going to see more of this in the future. Just the first time I encountered it.

You need to express your displeasure with the management.

Same thing happened to me in an outpatient surgery waiting room. They purchase a "blocking" service for their routers, and it blocks porn etc. Guess shooting is part of the etc.

At the county operated club where I shoot they can't get TS.com on their computers. Has to do with the county blocking many sites for reasons of their own.

Do some google research, and learn how to use proxy servers. I'm not aware of any site-blocking service that cannot be defeated with relative ease if you know what you're doing.

ysr racer, why would my computer security warn me not to use the site you recommended? It seemed pretty insistant with the warning. ....BUD

And you thought your guns and shooting sport were politically correct. Guess again.

Wow, years ago on cruise ships to pass the time, you had a choice of badminton, shuffle-board, hang out at the bar, or trap-shooting off the deck. There was always more people waiting to shoot clays then anything.

This is perfectly acceptable. After all, they do the same thing in China,
    North Korea, Iran, Syria, etc.

Thanks, I like the idea of a proxy server, I knew there must be a way around it but since this was the first time I encountered it, I was kind of stymied.
I did have a good time on the cruise anyway, but missed the TS.com as I ususlly check in every day to waste some time.
