I voted for John Mccain and Sarah Palin, and I AM PROUD OF IT.

I voted for an American hero. A man that dedicated his life, and but for the grace of God almost lost it, to his country.

I voted AGAINST obama and everything he stands for. Hell, we still don't know ALL the things he stands for. But I know we are going to find out NOW.

    No regrets, NONE.

Thanks to all the people on here that tried to tell the few sheep about obama. It really didn't matter, they had their minds made up or had them made up for them when they came on here. They were here to just stir the pot.

I actually liked having them on here. I only graduated high school, but compared to them, I looked like a friggin genius.

Never give up. Never knuckle under like a few did here.

I voted for McCain, and I'm proud of it, too.

Tom, you are one of the brightest guys on here. Your sense of humor shows it. You've made me laugh out loud lots of times on this forum over the last few years.

Obama better get his act together and work with all..including Republicans. I think the biggest issue we face is energy...energy is the key to keeping our dollar strong and jobs available. Obama may be a lot of things or not a lot of things, but he is not dumb. (I tell my friends, the Conservatives might shoot me and the Liberals put me under psychiatric observation, but that's the way I see the world...) I also have the offbeat notion that if Obama is really smart, he'd ask McCain to have a high position in the Vet Administration. I think Vets are not treated as well as they could be.

However, I think the key to America's future success and security in all areas is energy. He ought to think nuclear power as a start. We can't drill ourselves into energy independance or tax ourselves into financial independence. Two bandaids that will just keep us out of some misery for a very few years...if that long.

Obama best also look and economic planners and "experts" from any and all political camps, usually Republican, I'd guess, that are able to plan for the long term, not just the short term appeasment of stockholders. Short term greed has a way of biting one in the butt. I sure hope his agenda is not to pay off his cronies and front people who did run a very well financed and well orchestrated campaign. We can only pray.

No, I didn't vote for him...

I'm proud to stand beside you, Tom. When I retire and come home, I'd be glad to squad with you anytime...if we are still able to shoot!

He will not have to work with the republicans. He has party majority across the board. Get your ammo now. The dems will bury their heads when the terrorist hit on our shores. They always have. It will be up to us to protect the country.

Yes, I am worried. The next 4 years will tell the tale. Hello USSA!

I was with you all the way Tom, and my mind has not changed just because Obama is in. Gas was $2.19 a gallon here last night. We'll see where it goes and bet it starts to happen fast. Numerous experts on the economy say we will start a sharp lasting downturn with Obama. Oh well such is life. Keep your heads up. Jackie B.

I too voted Republican in the presidential election and am proud of that fact. It is a sad day for thinking Americans as a whole. This election will go down in history as the election with the highest participation. Unfortunately it will also go into the record books as the election with the highest amount of uneducated thought behind those votes. I'm not talking formal education here, I'm speaking of those who voted who had no idea why they voted for their candidate. CHANGE? What change and how is that change going to be implemented. Don't blame me, I didn't vote for the son of a bitch. (Very soon to be a bumper sticker)

A sad day for America indeed.

    Tom,

I stand with you as well.

Proud to say I voted for McCain/Palin and prouder yet to say that I know with certainty that I influenced no less than 9 other people who were leaning toward Obama to vote with me, probably more.

As for Sara, what about the rumor that since Stevens apparently won reelection in Alaska there may be a move to see her fill his Senate seat when he steps down?

    Wouldn't that tweak the sheep!

I just thought of the perfect line for the movie.

Titled, "Treat me as your, Godfather"

"obamas a pimp. He never could've out-fought McCain. But I didn't know until this day that it was soros all along."

I'm having some T-shirts made up that say "I voted for McCain-NOT Husien" I intend to wear them to work just to PO the Obama supporters! I also told my union rep that after them supporting that socialist POS, that even though I will agree with them on some issues, I will NEVER wear a union shirt again! One Smart @$$ who was POed at me told me "The Election is over". I responded that that is true, but "the fight against socialism is NOT"! I predict a very devided and hostile conflict in this country in the years ahead. It's going to be a long ugly road for the next 4 years!

I'm more optimistic. I think and hope Obama pandered to the very frustrated and fringy types. I predict he will sell them out, reach accross party lines, and claim how his party alone "fixed things" if things get fixed. I think his biggest motivation is to obtain money, power, and status as a leader.

I don't like him 'cause I don't feel he can be trusted 'cause I think he was hardly honest about his background, funding, and associates. Too many unanswered questions. But the man is not dumb and I think he is, again, motivated by power. I fear, however, his getting us into some kind of big war in Afghanistan and burying his head about economic problems while putting up short term band aids like taxation and borrowing..then dumping another mess on some administration 4 to 8 years later. But I hope Congress including both parties and Obama work together. If not, we will be in more deep crap.
