I've been reloading with a Spolar for five years and a part broke on it. That's it -- I'm going to give it away and buy a (insert name of reloader here). Can someone recommend a reloader, price is no obstacle, that will work for all eternity? I don't want any of this machined aluminum crap either. Is there a machine made of stainless steel or better yet titanium? I want a machine that never needs an adjustment or a part replaced -- I don't think that is too much to ask for!

Buy stock in Federal and shoot their loads. STS are good too and you can sell the hulls.

Anyone that doesn't mind the cost of a reloader, then complains about Spolar should shoot factory loads.

No machine with moving parts that doesn't need adjustments. Especially if it's operated by human (to make it worse, by trapshooters). :)

I wonder how often a part breaks or needs adjustment in the Factory = Remington or Federal, etc. Did you break the little nylon wad fingers? A bee bee get into the primer track? Need to lube some parts? You are really pitiful AND funny. Fred

I'll probalby give it to my cousin, who I despise, in the hope that a complex mechanical device will destroy his sanity.

I would say a PW 800 plus is about as beefy and well built machine that there is. But make no mistake, it has to be adjusted and if something loosens up and it goes out of adjustment, you will need to adjust it again. Good luck with finding the perfect reloader. I am afraid it will be a futile search.

Just a couple of quotes I like the first is from the PW thread. The second I don't know where it is from but it seems to fit.

"Some people have no business reloading"

    "You can't fix stupid"

Looks like they're hitting gold today. I'll try a shallow running floating Spolar. Just twitch it in.
