Looked the Cardinal scores over and noticed the same usual winners. Why no AAA Class? There's a great difference in the usual AA class than the AAA at the big shoots. Most under 99 avg. for singles or doubles would probably just shoot targets. Any opinions? Glenn

Why no AAA you ask? I ask why no class runner-up trophies for events 1 & 3
No category runner up trophies for events 1 through 9 and only 5 places deep for hdcp events 4,6 and event 8. If you look at the hdcp events 5th place was no less than a 97 score.

Most AA shooters could care less about AAA. The winning scores are usually the same!!

I would have to say that Longsh?t is already in a class by himself.

Lets see 98 and over in a 6 class system is AAA. 97 and over in a 5 class system is AA.

Do you honestly feel there is a difference. I have yet to see a AA shooter that isn't capable of shooting 100 or 200 straight. If that is the case what would you figure the AAA shooter could shoot????? I will bet it isn't much more than a 100 or 200 straight!!!!!!!

BTW it says in the rulebook and I quote.

"If Shoot Management desires to use different classification it may do so by printing the modified classification in the program of the shoot"

Do you think LEO gets pissed when he looks down at his check and he's AA and not a AAA shooter.

Or DAVE BERLET when he won the KOLAR shootoff.

Or any of the BIG SHOOTERS that brake the first 100 and the second 100.

Would these shooters beat us less or more if they were AAA shooters?

I like the idea of AAA at one shoot and that shoot is the Grand. Having the extra class at the Grand gives more of the true AA shooters a chance to get some reward for the perfect score it takes to make the shoot-offs.

Anywhere else it is just another trophy (or trophies if runner-up is involved) for the club or organization to buy. Many times AAA ranks are too thin at state shoots to make it worth while.

Cardinal and the Ohio State shoot have it right by omitting AAA. If you want to add more trophies put them down in the categories where they are really appreciated.
