Where do you go to find the reloading data to duplicate a Remington Nito 27 at 1235 FPS?

Hodgdon Titegroup will reproduce this load.

To literally answer your question: Try 21.4gr. of International with a Rem209P and a Fig. 8 wad with good magnum shot. That should be about as close as you will get to "duplicating" the N27 load.
You could duplicate the results of their loads cheaper with DR wads, FIO primers, promo powder. And do it sugnificantly cheaper if that is important to you.

    Dixlab,
I've played around with this trying to match the Nitro load at 1235 fps. This is my favorite. Remington hull, Remington 209 primer, Remington Figure 8 wad, 11/8 oz. of 71/2 shot, and 22.5 grains of PB powder. This is a nice fast load with low recoil. Give it a try.
    Good luck, Jeff

I think that someone hasn't figured out how to use their crono yet. Either that, or some sporting clays shells got mixed up.

Back to the Nitro 27 recipe:

    18.0 grains Hodgdon's Titegroup powder

    Remington 209 primer

    Remington TGT-12 wad

    Remington hull (STS, Nitro, Gunclub)

1 1/8 oz of good magnum shot.

This will clock 1235 fps out of a 30" barrel.

Done properly Nitro 27 trap loads chrono at about 1225 to 1250 with a fairly large standard deviation.

The load I use to reproduce this, with a much lower standard deviation, is 20.5 gr of Green Dot in a Remington Hull, an orange Winchester wad, and Remington primer. I use 1 1/8 oz of 7 1/2's. This is close enough and feels mild.

EC90t is on the right track, same load my dad and I shoot for competition, grains might be slightly different, but essentially the same load. This load just crushes targets from the fence!!

dixlab: I agree with EC90t data re. Remington shells and Hodgdon Titegroup
    powder.

If you reload Wichester AA shells using the Titegroup powder, here is
    a recipe you might like:

    17.6 grains Titegroup
    Winchester WAA12SL wad
    11/8 shot = 8/71/2

    Approx 1240FPS and soft shooting!

ec90t recipe is correct. Been there, done that.

Best load going. (unless you know where some 12C1 Federal wads are lurking).

I think someone is confusing the Sporting Clays Nitro's (which are Hot @1300) with Target Nitro's which are 1235fps.

exfactor needs to learn to read. The Nitro27 Sporting Clay load is labeled 1335fps not legal for trap.
